I'm currently a student at Roosevelt University, where I've completed a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and am in the process of finishing my second degree in Education. When I'm not pouring over my studies in an over-caffeinated daze, I'm daydreaming of becoming a world-renowned wordsmith or professional espionage. I'm an avid book reader, as you will probably notice upon walking into my flat. When I'm not doing obligatory things, I write a lot, observe, sing folk songs, explore, inquire, take photographs/film, and collect vintage knick-knacks. I also enjoy cooking a hell of a drool-worthy meal.
I'm always more than happy to recommend a list of my personal favorite joints in Chicago. Whether it is enjoyment for your brain and heart, or nourishment for your stomach and liver, I'll be sure to steer you the right way in this city.
I tell all my guests: "Feel like you're right at home." I mean it! There's nothing more dreadful than returning from a nice day of exploration to a cold hotel. By being a guest in someone's home, you experience the city almost as if you live there.
So go ahead, pretend my flat is yours, and think of yourself as a Chicagoan rather than a tourist. :)
