I grew up on a horse farm in Kentucky then moved to New York to study.
I was living between Chinatown, NY and Berlin, Germany since 2009 and now live permanently in Berlin.

Great apartment, centrally located. Perfect for 6 or 7 persons.
Very convenient, well decorated yet minimalistic.
And Billy was kind enough to leave a bottle of sparkling wine for us!
Look no further.
Everything run easily , the flat is really comfortable . I would recommend this place with no hesitation
Billy and Thomas are nice guys. Billy made an effort to provide suggestions on restaurants during our stay. Their apartment is a basic, casual student type pad.
Unfortunately we both experienced itching through the nights which we were not able to resolve despite Billy providing new linen. On the last night insect repellent stopped the itching. We were a bit disappointed that no discount on the rate was offered or attempt to resolve the issue further. Billy is aware of this so we assume he will look into the cause.
Bathroom on arrival could have been cleaner and room was a bit dusty. However this is all relative to cost.
The apt. is in a great location in Chinatown and was easy to get everywhere. In true new York style the apartment was quite small with 2 of them and 2 of us but did not impact our stay.
My friend Erica and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Billy and Thomas! We shared a room in their cute Chinatown apartment for 2 weeks in April and were overwhelmed by their kindness during our stay. Billy carried my 23kg bad up 6 flights of stairs when I arrived and made me feel very welcome. The apartment is in a brilliant location, only 5min walk to amazing stores in Soho and 10 min walk to vintage stores in East Village. The boys are very much into their arts, and were keen to give directions to the best galleries, museums, cafes and restaurants in the area. The room itself is small but very clean and tidy. There is plenty of storage space for your belongings and hanging space for your clothes. We would defiantly stay with the boys again on our next visit to New York!
Great room, manhattan-small but very clean and comfortable, right in Chinatown. Friendly and accommodating host. Highly recommended!
I stayed with Billy for 2 weeks when I was waiting to move into a new apartment. As described, the location is in the "heart of Chinatown," but it's only a short walk to Tribeca, Soho, or the Village. The room itself is small, but the bed is full size, and there are plenty of shelves and a wardrobe to store your stuff. Billy and Tom were friendly and easy-going, and it was a pleasure staying with them!
A cozy room in the heart of Chinatown. A 5 min walk from several subway stops but not so bad, you're in NY fer cryin' out loud. Sixth floor walk-up might deter some but keeps you in shape and gives you the real "NY experience." Quiet and respectful housemates, quiet and clean space. Safe area, you're across the street from the NYPD's 5th precinct!
Billy and Thomas are very cool, down-to-earth guys. I felt very comfortable staying with them and enjoyed hanging out when our schedules matched up. The location is right in the heart of Chinatown which is close to just about everywhere else, and the local restaurants are plentiful, delicious and very affordable. The room is simple and clean, and is a great jumping off point to explore the rest of the city. Great location, great people.
Billy is one of the most trustworthy and reliable people I know. I'd share my apt anytime with him.
