Sarah's place is in a great location in Austin! She was so easy to communicate with & very responsive whenever we needed anything. We stayed for a week & while we had a great time, I think the apartment is more ideal for a short/weekend stay :)
Sarah's place is great. I didn't have a car with me, so it was extremely convenient that several bus lines stop just right down the street. This is a great, affordable alternative to staying downtown. Oh it's clean and also has nice amenities like an ironing board and wifi as well. Check-in and out was very flexible. Thanks Sarah!
Sarah was a wonderful and thoughtful host. She was very accommodating with my arrival and departure time and was very easy to reach. There was a freak thunderstorm during one day of my stay and Sarah checked in to let me know where I could find an umbrella to borrow. Very thoughtful.
The apartment is close to a number of bus lines (including the airport bus), which made it very easy to get most places. There isn't a lot to do/places to eat in the immediate area, but this is a great home base for exploring the rest of the city.
Sarah's apartment is in a great location, but can be a bit tricky to find at first, however she is very helpful and available if you need to call or get directions.
The apartment is very basic and while the shower has great pressure, if you're taller than 5'4" you may have to duck down. Also the bed/mattress is very soft, so may not be ideal if you have back problems.
For the rate and what's provided, it needs to compete with budget hotels nearby (La Quinta etc) which may provide a slightly higher quality experience.
I couldn't have asked for more. We never got a chance to actually meet Sarah in person, but all phone and email communication was enough. The cute little apartment (easily slept 2, but we did use the air mattress one night to fit another person) is located right next to campus, and only a few blocks from a small market (that sells beer/wine...), an awesome breakfast/lunch place (Red River Cafe), and UT campus. We walked/bused everywhere. I would definitely recommend her place to anyone, and I'll certainly use her place again if I visit Austin. Thanks Sarah!
The apartment was great. Sarah was a fantastic and super helpful host. We visited for SXSW and it was a perfect spot to stay within a good walk/short taxi ride from downtown.
Sarah's place was cozy and conveniently located. She was incredibly friendly and did what she could to make our stay as nice as possible. She was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish.
Sarah was easy to contact and quick to respond. Her apartment was cozy, a quick walk to UT campus, and an easy 10-minute walk from a few great restaurants. I would definitely stay here again if I'm back in Austin!
Our stay in Sarah's apartment couldn't have been better. The apartment was definitely cozy, the parking wasn't a problem, and the apartment is conveniently located. I have no complaints.
Sarah was a very nice and friendly host.
Her place is as described and perfectly located
I will absolutely book it again
Sarah was a wonderful guest! She left our cabin clean and neat, which we always appreciate. Sarah is welcome back any time and we highly recommend her to all the other hosts out there!
Sarah was a great communicator. Sadly, at the last minute she couldn't make it but her friends did. Per our agreement, two of her friends from Europe stayed here and they were very kind. I don't want to leave a less than stellar reference for Sarah b/c she completely followed through with her end of the deal and was totally fair. Her friends were the first guests I've had that left trash on the floor (for what it's worth) but over all were great!!
