I'm a PhD student in Chemical Engineering at Stanford University. I study how gene expression strength and combinations can lead to various phenotypes at a cellular level in disease like cancer. Before graduate school, I taught high school science in the Bronx with Teach for America. In my free time I like to cook, ski, train my dog, read, drink beer, and of course travel!
My boyfriend Mike and I like to think of our style of travel as laid-back: our personal style of travel is to travel medium-light, try new foods, drink a lot of cappuccinos, and meet new people. I tend not to go to more than one museum a day and am always looking for great places to dine. I'm definitely one of those people who loves to check out foreign grocery stores.
