This was a great stay! The apt was clean and comfortable- even though it was freezing and snowy outside the apt was warm with a great view of the sunset. The subway is around the corner and if you hop the N express it is an quick trip to Atlantic Terminal and some great neighborhoods. The neighborhood consists of mostly immigrant populations, with some authentic and inexpensive food choices. The immediate area it is not the best for night life but the subway is very convenient. Tony was out of town but easily accessible and checked in to see how things were going. I work close by so this was super convenient for me, I would stay here again!
I absolutely love this pad. Comfortable. Right next to the train. Not too big. Not too small. Cool colors. Tony himself was super cool and helpful for everything from check in to culinary suggestions to even recommending a couple of selections from his vinyl collection. Magnificent host. Magnificent pad. An airbnb gem!
The apartment is very cozy and cute and it's very close to the subway. Tony is very friendly and easy to reach. He has provided us very detailed information about the direction to the apartment as well as the neighbor. I will definitely recommend this place!!
Tony hosted my parents for a few days and they loved their stay. They found his apartment very clean and colorful, and it's conveniently just steps away from the subway. They were very comfortable during their stay. Tony is very accommodating and went out of his way to make them feel welcome. He communicated often before the check-in and let us know everything we needed to know. All in all, we had an excellent experience with Tony!
Nice apartment in the heart of Brooklyn. Close to the subway and other necessities
Tony's place was perfect! It was a super cute apartment. Great location. Parking was never an issue during the day. It was only an issue if we were trying to find a spot after 2 am but that's totally normal. We had to park kind of far. Tony was very easy to work with. For example, he was flexible with our arrival/check out time. I would definitely go back!
We knew tony and his apartment would be fantastic for us as soon as we saw photos and began talking to him.
Firstly, tony is really friendly and respons extremely fast. he provided us with perfect directions to the apartment as well as bucketloads of information about his apartment, brooklyn and the surrounding areas. although we never met him personally we felt at home in his apartment due to his open and friendly manner.
the apartment was great, heaps of space with all the ammenities. had a homey feel and was round the corner from everything: restaurants, supermarkets, subway to manhattan and more.
stay with tony!
Tony is great! From helping us with travel plans, to helping us with luggage, to letting us use his bikes and eat his food, he is a wonderful host. We slept better on his bed than ours at home. The subway is incredibly close. And though the building is pretty old, the apartment has wonderful character and so does the Latin and Chinese neighborhood. They closed off the street in front of his apartment during the day so kids could play... Crafts, basketball, road hockey, fire hydrant sprinklers. But my favorite thing was the bike ride along the Hudson river starting just a few blocks from Tony's place. Thanks Tony!
Tony's apartment is a good compromise between price and location. There is a subway station not far from the flat, which gives you access to Manhattan in 40 mins. The neighborhood is quite.
Tony and his friends were "traveling ultimate players coming from a tournament in Santa Monica" with a stopover Joshua Tree for hiking and other adventure. I didn't have the pleasure to meet them but communication went smoothly and they left the house in excellent condition. They also were kind enough to leave a fun book about their sport for the house library. Maybe it will inspire future ultimate players. But I would definitely recommend Tony to another host and would welcome him back again for a stay in Joshua Tree.
