La casa è particolare e molto confortevole. All'interno è tutto oltremodo ben fornito e funzionante. A 100 metri della tube station, e' situata in posizione strategica per visitare londra o per spostarsi per lavoro. Lesley si è dimostrato un proprietario estremamente accogliente e molto disponibile.
Perfect location and great place. After spending a week in a hotel for work, it was a relief to be in a place with character! Leslie was great and would absolutely book again.
Lesley was kind enough to come and meet me and my daughter at the local tube station which is just a two minute walk from his place. We loved the convenient location of the flat, very close to three major tube stations and several bus routes. Lesley showed us around the flat, and made us feel very welcome, there were nice touches like fresh flowers for us and a few food supplies to get us going. The flat is small but well appointed with everything we needed. The flat as you can see from the photos is extensively and eclectically decorated with dozens of clocks and ornaments. I liked the cosy appeal of the place which was one of the main reasons I picked it for our three week stay. We visited Regents Park and the London Zoo several times and did many fun touristy things in London. We would love to book Lesley's flat again if we come to London, he was a terrific host. We found lots of fantastic supermarkets and restaurant/cafes nearby, which made our stay very convenient.
The apartment was a 200 meters away from the nearest Metro Station and a few meters away from the bus station. It was perfect, we did not stay much in, just used it as a homebase.
The apartment was clean, though a little to cluttered for my taste, especially too many clocks that made sounds at random times. But this did not bother us much as we only used it as a place to crash at night.
The host was welcoming and waited for us even though our flight was late.
Me and my wife spent our vacation in London this august. Cool city, a lot of impressions! Sure it won't be so good if not Lesley with his unforgotten hospitality and wonderful flat. Clear, conveniently situated, everything included and even more - great place to live, to relax and to investigate.
It worth to be mentioned, that during our 4 day trip to Edinburgh, Lesley leave us the flat free of charge. So we didn't have any problems of keeping our goods.
Thank you a lot, Les!
The wine was good, your collections are wonderful, you're great man!
With all the best, Sergey.
Lesley was a great host! He was waiting outside the apartment when we arrived and was very friendly and helpful during all of our stay in London. Lesley was also very thoughtful on anything we might need and left soap, shampoo, clean towels, and even a bottle of Spanish wine in the apartment for us! We received a couple of mail packages for Lesley during our stay at the apartment, but that was no trouble at all.
The apartment is comfortable and clean and has anything that you may need (washing machine, TV, and the most spectacular music collection in both CD and vinyl which Lesley is very happy to share with his hosts). Bathroom was very clean and everything worked perfectly. This is a very convenient place for any tourist in London, and I would definitely recommend it.
The neighborhood is very safe at any time. We walked home at 2 or 3 am and always felt safe. There are three subway stations nearby and several lines of buses, so you can get to almost anywhere in a very short time. Also, Regent's park, which is really fantastic to visit, is just two blocks away. In sum, the place is great and very recommendable.
I had a lovely stay at Les's apartment. It is quite comfortable, extremely tidy, sunny, and in a superb central London location. I also appreciated the exquisitely well-stocked kitchen. Les is a very generous and welcoming host. I found his collection of clocks and curios to be quite fun (though people who are bothered by clocks or a scent of second hand smoke may find it unpleasant). I would stay again.
Comfortable, interestingly appointed flat in a quiet area near Regents Park, with an accommodating host – enjoyed the stay, very happy with the location and the amenities.
Lesley is a very helpful host and make a point out of introducing us guests to the apartment. He's easy to communicate with and quick to respond.
The apartment itself is located quite central with easy access to tubs and only a couple minutes walk from Regents Park. You'll find anything you need in the kitchen. This place is what airbnb is all about - finding a comfortable place to stay in an homely and welcoming atmosphere. Lesley has fitted out the apartment as something like an antique shop/museum and you'll find difficulties pointing out 10 cm of free wall or shelf - quite eccentric and an experience for sure. We found some of the many many clocks a bit noisy during nighttime and non smoking guests as us has to be aware that there has been smoked in the apartment.
All in all a great experience and a lovely place to stay.
We stayed in Lesley's flat for the new year. He's a good host, he explain how to use and offered us a bottle of wine.
The flat has a realy good situation, close off several tube and bus station. We were at 5 minutes of Oxford / Picadily.
It's easy to eat in the flat, with a supermarket in front of the tube station and all you need and more in the kichen.
The flat is a little bit old (No faucet mixer into the bathroom ) , but very clean.
The flat is like a museum, (so british), with several collections, one of clock at time with the noise. Except clocks's noise, the flat is quiet.
Thanks a lot Lesley.
