We had a wonderful time in San Casciano and staying at your home was great. Nice walk into town for shopping and coffee. Your home was comfortable and your welcome with the fresh bread and meat tray was greatly appreciated. The morning sun rise view from the front balcony was beautiful and the evening sunsets from the back balconies were wonderful also. The road noise did not bother as as the views were so awesome. Thank you,
My daughter, son-in, law, my partner and myself stayed in the flat from 20 - 27th June and were given comprehensive instructions on how to get there, including videos of the approach roads and how to get into the gated parking area.
Unfortunately our host, Antonio, had to be out of town during our stay but was easily reachable by Viber, SMS & Email. There was only one initial hiccup which was that the internet was not topped up and as Antonio was out of the country we had to wait until Sunday night for a connection which was frustrating as 3 of us run our own businesses and needed the wireless connection.
This having been resolved we very much enjoyed our stay in the flat. It is spacious and comfortable and tastefully decorated. The views from the 3 balconies are stunning and we ate breakfast and supper overlooking the beautiful Tuscan countryside. We cooked every evening and the kitchen was more than well equipped.
There were some niggles with the loo as the flush did not work well and also the bathroom door was too stiff and we had to close it hard every time we used the bathroom and that was a bit disturbing especially at night.
The road is a bit noisy in the day but as we were out sightseeing every day this did not particularly bother us. The bus stop to Firenze was just a minute's walk from the flat and Firenze is only 30 minutes by bus. To visit anywhere else you really need a car.
Overall, a lovely flat and base for visiting Tuscany.
The House in San Casciano Was Fantastic. Very Comfortable & in A Magnificent Location. Carlos brother Antonio was a Wonderful Help, even in regard to matters other than the Accomodation. The Town is Truly Beautiful & I would Recommend anyone needing to stay near Florence to choose this Place. A short drive to most places & a wonderful bus service as well, very close to the Accomodation . Thank You Antonio & Carlo
We went there on early April. We were firstly taken away by the view from the balcony. It's just amazing. The house is very clean. The kitchen is new and the bedrooms are nicely decorated. The location of the house is very convenient. Only 10 minutes walk to the center of town and 10 minutes drive to the main supermarket. We love the town center here very much and we love the atmosphere of San Casiano. From here, we can drive easily to Florence and other cities like Siena or Pisa. Overall we were very much impressed by the house and its location. Also, the host welcomed us very warmly.
A true gem; this was our best find as we are a family of 4 travelling in Europe for 8 months. Our one month stay here was simply dreamy. This is the perfect Tuscan get-away. A 10 minute stroll from the charming village of San Casciano and a 5 minute drive to the nearest outdoor swimming pool where our kids enjoyed their hot summer days.
It is not fair to call this an apartment as it is approximately a sprawling1500 square feet summer home with 3 separate balconies overlooking different Tuscan hillsides. Behind the house was an olive orchard where we got to enjoy their olive oil compliments of our most gracious and generous hosts. It's proximity to both Siena and Florence, and Cortona allowed us to have such great day-trips.
We had a car for the month we stayed here, but on many occasions it was better to take the bus that came right outside the house to Florence. From Florence we took a weekend trip to Venice once which was absolutely terrific and easy to do by myself with 2 children (while my husband was away on business one week) - and I don't speak any Italian what-so-ever.
The kitchen was a delight to cook and eat with highest quality cooking tools, and a wonderful large dinning set. We have recommended this place to many of our friends and family and hope to return ourselves again.
Thank you Giovanni, Carlo and Antonio for your generous hospitality!

Great place! The terrace is perfect for breakfast or dinner - beautiful view! The apartment is very comfortable and clean and well furnished. Our host provided us a baby cot as we travelled with our 4months old daughter. He was very helpful and nice.
Maybe the only small minus is that sometimes it gets a bit noisy from the near-by road, but usually that's the time you are going to be out discovering Tuscany, so I would warmly recommend this place!
