Arizona native loving life in Washington DC!
Thank you very much for the enjoyable stay! I had such a great time in DC, and loved your peaceful place. I felt very welcome, and you were such a great host! Bike path adjacent and perfect for for rest and relaxation!
The music room is the best place to stay in Washington DC! I had a lot of meetings during the day, and needed some privacy, calm and space to work, and Brian's room is perfect: big bed and spacious room for yourself.
Brian is funny and friendly, and he's there for you if you need him to or you ask him anything, but he is also discreet and respectful of your space at home. Briefly, my place to be in DC :) thank you!
A cozy, quiet, and spacious real-bedroom with a great host who makes you feel at home. A great place for a short- or long-term stay and right off the D5 and D6 that feeds into Georgetown, about 10-15 minutes away by bus. I'd go back.
Brian is a wonderful host who cares about your stay and wants to make it a great experirence. I enjoyed staying in the music room. The bed was comfortable and being upstairs meant plenty of privacy. I would stay here again. For the price, it is a fantastic deal!
Even though we stay for very short time, I'd say Brian and the house was a good place for us. The dogs are super cute, and we are dog people so it was fine with us - but they are big, and friendly. We have the upstair guess room, and we are light sleeper so there was no squeaky sound above the head if someone is walking to get some water in the night - thanks for that. Brian's roommate was very friendly and respectful of our privacy and comfort so as soon as he greeted us and make sure we were ready to rest, he just left the house for us to use and went downstair. Very comfortable. Thanks Brian, if we come to visit DC, we'll definitely stay again .
Brian was a very hospitable host. The downstairs bed was huge and very comfortable. He has two adorable dogs. Would definitely stay here again if I'm ever passing through DC.
it was our first stay with airbnb.com and we were blessed to stay at wonderful Brian's place
all was said before - host is great, house is great and the dogs are great too!
The bus ride is not that bad as someone mentioned, sometimes takes 15-25 minutes to get to downtown where is a lot to see
Brian can advice about the places where to go and where to eat
Neighborhood is very safe and supermarket just as 2 minute walk
We left 2 smartrip passes for bus and metro rides for oncoming visitors could save $5 on purchasing the new one, but please if you take them from Brian don't forget to give it back :)
This place is definitely recommended for Washington DC visitors
Our stay with Brian was very nice. Brian was very pleasant and accommadating. The neighborhood was wonderful, with cafes, shops and public transport closeby. We were only a short drive to downtown which made it very convenient. Brians dogs were so nice and polite, very friendly. I recommend Brians music room to everyone. And you cant beat the price.
Brian's place was wonderful. His beautiful home offered all the amenities, including our own personal space upstairs. (bedroom and restroom). The upstairs area had a great A/C system which was refreshing during the rough humidity. He is an official tour guide, so he provided with all kinds of literature, as well as recommendations he had for us. The area of the home is in a very nice and quiet neighborhood about 2 miles from Georgetown.
Brian really was the perfect host. He was very welcoming and knew a great deal about the city and local area. He also went out of his way to help us on the way to the airport, which was much appreciated. His dogs are beautiful and so friendly and you couldn't ask for a nicer house to be living in. It was great to stay a bit further out of the city (though only a 30minute bus ride, so hardly far) as this meant that we were staying in a lovely, safe neighbourhood with slightly cheaper shops and dining options. We would 100% recommend staying with Brian, and are very keen to do so again sometime if we're in the city.
