A little background on our stay at Brent’s. My oldest son and youngest daughter now live and work in Atlanta and being “low man on the totem pole” got Christmas day off and that was it. So, we decided to look for lodgings in and around Atlanta to spend Christmas with them (we live in Savannah about a 4 hour drive). We needed a house that would sleep a minimum of 5 (wife, younger son, oldest daughter and her husband) and that narrowed things down. Although not in Atlanta, Brent’s place fit the bill. I exchanged emails with Brent concerning the stay but never got to meet him, understand that he was in Australia at the time…lucky guy. Brent was very responsive regarding all my questions. He was also very easy on the check in and check out times as we weren’t going to be able to check in until around 1900. His neighbors were holding the key and let us in and explained the heating and cooling and showed us the entire house. The house was huge and easily accommodated all of us and allowed for separate rooms for everyone. One great feature of this gigantic house was that there were ample areas to go take a breather from everyone. Great media room in the lower level with a giant tv that the kids enjoyed and made for a quiet time for us too on the upper (website hidden)’s abound, even in an exercise room. Nope, did not use the exercise room but it was there. Also had a laundry room if you needed it. Bedrooms and beds were great as were the bathrooms. All clean and everything working. Kitchen was large and fully equipped, yeah a dishwasher that worked. We needed it all as we were cooking a ham with all the fixings for Christmas dinner…it turned out great. BTW, Publix and Kroger were nearby to get vittles. Although there were pots and pans and dishes etc., we had a large party and needed more than were provided. So, take a lesson and bring some paper plates and cups etc. if you have a large party. Also, you might want to bring your own seasonings (salt, pepper etc.) as the kitchen didn’t have these.
We had a wonderful Christmas and Brent’s house made the perfect meeting place. If you don’t have to stay right in Atlanta it makes for a great place to stay. Thanks Brent!
Had such an amazing birthday in Atlanta! This house is huge with Lots of space!! Thanks Brent we really enjoyed our stay! We had dinner plans every night but who could leave this home and go to dinner??
The only downfall was the commute into the city. Other then that we all had a great stay.
When back in ga we will definitely book with Brent again!!!
This house was beyond what I expected thank you so much my grandmother had the master suite and said she felt like a queen!!
What an amazing house!!!! This place is truly a mansion. Highly recommended
I stayed at Brent's place over the thanksgiving weekend in 2012. The house is way bigger than it appears on the pictures. We had all the necessary items that made our stay smooth and enjoyable. It was simply home away from home. Nice neighborhood too and the shops are like 4 miles from the house. Has latest kitchen appliances that makes cooking even easier. **there is an alarm code though, don't forget to have disabled while you get there**
Brent is very open minded, honest and faithful. That was a pleasure to meet him and to welcome him at my place. I was out of my apartment during his stay and he let it very clean.
