Clare's apartment is really cozy and well located to walk around Toronto's amazing and vibrant neighborhoods. Clare's cat Sunshine is also a lovely flatmate. Clare is a very helpful host, she informed us about spots to visit, places to park the car etc..we really enjoyed our stay in Toronto!
Clare was a great host - she was able to give us info/directions as to where to go for places we needed to get to and was just generally easy going and flexible regarding our arrival time.
The apartment is in such a quaint part of town, but still extremely close to nightlife and tons of stuff to do.
We had a great time at Clare's for 4 nights over Thanksgiving weekend. The place is very quaint and I love all of Clare's vintage decorating. Very cute. It was nice getting away from TV/internet for a while and having the record player with an amazing record collection was great. The bed is medium firm and comfy! Clare's cat, Sunshine, is a huge cuddly sweetie - perhaps a but suspicious for the first few hours but warmed up quickly. We really enjoyed her company.
One of the major benefits of this apartment was the location. It is in a fantastic neightbourhood that is very safe and close to amazing restaurants. It is quiet but also close to both Bathurst Station and Christie Station and just a minute walk to the Bathurst streetcar. VERY easy to get to the apartment by streetcar from the Toronto City Center Airport.
Clare was a fantastic host, easy to get a hold of, quick to respond, etc. We were happy to stay in her home. Very good value.
Clare has a beautiful place and the friendliest cat in the world. I loved my stay and it couldn't have gone smoother. Thank you!!
My stay at Clare's apartment was really great! The apartment is perfectly located between Bloor St. and College St., so it has pretty much everything you need walking distance. Clare was very welcoming and friendly, she was also much helpful and gave us nice tips about the area! And I can't forget to mention Sunshine, Clare's lovely cat whose made our stay much better and cozy. I definitely recommend it and loved my week at this place!
Having stayed in Clare's apartment for a month, I can say that it is perfectly situated and really comfortable, either for a single resident or a couple. Not only are there loads of things to do in the surrounding area, but it's about 5 minutes away from the nearest metro stop, making it really convenient for getting around the rest of the city. Lots and lots of restaurants, bars and cool shops around. Clare herself was a great host: she opened her apartment to me and was really easy-going and welcoming. Would definitely go back again.
My partner and I stayed for a month at Clare's gorgeous apartment and thoroughly enjoyed our time there; I'd highly recommend it to anyone coming to Toronto. Clare was an incredibly welcoming host and easy to get hold of when needed, and we appreciated her tips on the area.
It's in an absolutely perfect spot (about halfway in between Koreatown and Little Italy), in a really picturesque and safe neighbourhood, within easy walking distance of all the cool bars and restaurants on Bloor and College, and about a 20 minute walk or short street car ride to the heart of downtown.
We loved the quirky vintage aesthetic and spaciousness of the apartment, which came equipped with a record player and record collection, two guitars and a friendly cat to hang out with (all things we had been missing during our travels!)
Great guest. Came with 3 friends and left the place in perfect shape. Many thanks!
