I love interior design, architecture traveling and meeting new people, so I am looking forward to hosting you here at my beautiful apartment.

My husband, two young children and I had a wonderful week staying in this flat! The photos don't do it justice as there is also a living room with a table and bench/chairs, and a children's bedroom with a bunk bed. The bathroom has a shower and a bath, which is great for bathing the kids. The garden has a table and chairs too, as well as a sandpit for the kids. It felt like we were staying in a friend's house - homely and comfortable.
Richmond is a very well-to-do area with up-market shops and restaurants - we really enjoyed the bakery, cafe and deli just round the corner (did a bit of celebrity spotting too!) and the Chinese take-away was top-notch too! Another highlight was walking to the river from the flat through the beautiful Terrace gardens, ambling along to the Pier restaurant for the best fish and chips ever, and stopping at the riverside pubs for a pint or a Pimms and lemonade. Richmond park is very close too. To get into central London, there is a direct train (to Waterloo) and tube (stops at South Kensington and all the museums - pretty handy). From the flat we got the bus from round the corner to the train station but it could be walked too.
All in all, I can thoroughly recommend Tamara's flat - we would love to return.
I stayed at Tamaras flat in Camden for a week with my daughters 10 and 12 year of age. We had a lovely time. The flat is well situated for exploring London and is a great alternative to a hotel.
We had a wonderful time in London. The apartment is really nice and very well located.
We stayed in Tamara's beautiful flat with my husband & 11 year old daughter. This was a confortable, clean, spacious and very quiet flat, very well situated, it felt like home really. Not even 2mns walk from the buses running day and night and going to many central places. Great area and close to Camden Town. We confirm the pub at the corner is really nice and you can have a delicious sunday roast there. We didn't meet Tamara but she answered all our questions nicely before and during our stay. Well, we'd definitely come back !
The apartment was lovely and absolutely perfect for our little family (couple with a 4 year old). The location is perfect: it is extremely quiet, with the bus that goes directly into the city around the corner and a playground nearby. We loved the roominess of the place (not a given in London!) and how bright and friendly it was. Tamara's instructions were also spot on and very helpful.
While the location is ok, there a issues with this flat. On our first night my daughter discovered the bed she was sleeping in was broken which caused her to fall through the mattress (consisting of 3 cushions) to the floor. Tamara responded to our email later the next day by saying she was insulted by my criticism of the broken bed. She never proposed to replace or repair the bed.
Unfortunately this marred our stay. We also found the toilet is stained dark brown below the waterline. Again Tamara simply acknowledged this with no proposal to do anything about it. There are beds for 3 people (including the broken bed). The 4th person has to sleep on the lounge. There were light globes not working and the wifi dongle was out of credit when we arrived. Tamara simply denied the wifi was out of credit, so that was the extent of any negotiations on the subject. Tamara is a take it or leave it kind of person. The kitchen is poorly equipped with odds and ends. Only 2 mugs, strange crockery and cutlery, blunt knives etc. There is a water pump next to the main bedroom that is quite intrusive but we eventually got used to the vibration and noise and the sound of water pouring into a tank.
Tamara's apartment is lovely and warm. The heating was on a timer for when we arrived. It comfortably sleeps a couple in the double room and one other adult in the single room. The couch is huge and could easily sleep another adult if needs be. The single room also has a baby's cot. It's a 15 minute walk to Camden Town and Camden Lock Market and the Stables are a must visit. The number 29 bus is outside on Camden Road and brings you all the way to the West End. We also visited Brick Lane vintage and food market on Sunday by getting the 29 bus to great Russell street and changing to the No. 8 to Brick Lane. Downloading the citymapper app for London is a definite must! We enjoyed a drink in a rock and roll bar 'the Good Mixer' and met some friendly people. It was Amy Winehouse's local and there are some beautiful murals of her in the bar. Booking Tamara's apartment was stress free and we can 100% recommend. It was nice and quiet also as it's a little off the main road.
El piso es especial.Un lugar acogedor y limpio en un barrio muy agradable. Todo genial excepto por dejarnos un gato en la casa si avisarnos previamente.
