The Yacht was perfect for our family of 4. We found it to be very clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Also, Ramon and his assistant Dion were very quick to respond to any questions that we had. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book it again if we are in the area. Thanks Ramon and Dion!
We had a lovely week on the boat. The weather was colder than usual for this time of year, but we enjoyed the time there. The free garage with always a free parking space was very good and the internet was fast.
The yacht was ready for us when we arrived, and we were comfortable with the space for our group. The pictures are beautiful, and showed the yacht just as it is. Having one key to the entrance and the boat was the only inconvenience, having cell phones made it possible to make plans when the group wanted to separate.
We were 6 adult persons who stayed at Ramon's Yacht for 10 days, and did find the place nice, clean and comfortably.
The host quickly responded to our inquiries, and all communications went smoothly.
We were looking for somewhere special to stay during the new year and we found it in Ramon's yacht. It is in a perfect location, near the beach, near all the great dining and clubbing options south beach has to offer. The yacht itself could do with some tlc in some places but that didn't hinder our stay. It has a great deck where you van lounge in the sun. There is free parking which is also a great bonus however it is good to know where you can and can not park. Our card got towed which we didn't know and no one could tell us so we reported it stolen. This made a rather stressful ending to our stay but it didn't damper the overall experience. Ramon was very helpful in finding our car eventually. Ramon's assistant was also very nice she welcomed us with champagne, gave us the tour of the yacht and some tips for the neighbourhood. All in all a very enjoyable stay.
Ramon met us at the boat and provided a good overview. The boat looks just like the pictures on Airbnb. He was responsive to my questions and texts during our stay.
To start off with the good, the boat is very nice and the marina is in a great location. It has a lot of space and was perfect for four of us.
We did have some issues that caused our stay not to be the most pleasant. I sent Ramon an email about a week before check in to confirm our arrival and let home know that someone in our party would arrive around 4PM. I actually arrived a the boat at 4:30PM and needed to get a shower, after a day in the Everglades, and head out immediately. When I called Ramon, he said there was an issue with the previous renters and the boat was not ready and we could leave our stuff there while it was being cleaned. The only problem was we could not get into the marina to get on the boat. His cleaning guy showed around 7PM and it took him a few hours to clean but not without complaining and telling us he wasn't sure how he was getting home because the train to Ft Lauderdale wasn't running that late. I tipped him thirty dollars to help him get home. As soon as he left, I realized that the toilet in my cabin was backed up with the previous renters contents. I sent Ramon an email about this. He said he would have someone out the next day to fix but that would require us to wait around for the person since there was only one key for the boat and marina entry. We had a full day a the art fairs and were already behind schedule due to the problems with the boat the night before. I told him we would just deal with it.
On Saturday, all the toilets stopped working so one of us stayed behind and worked with Ramon over the phone to reset the circuit breaker to get the toilets, except mine, working again.
Ramon did apologize and said he was embarrassed and refunded our Friday night lodging. That was appreciated but our day at the beach on Sunday was off because we were behind on what we needed to cover at the art fairs due to waiting around for the boat to be cleaned Friday night.
I recommend if you want to rent the boat, that you call and speak with Ramon, a few days before, to confirm what time you will be arriving so that the boat is cleaned and ready. There is only one key, so be prepared to share the key and be close by if there is problem on the boat that needs to be resolved. No one that works with the boat lives local and will require some time to get issues resolved.
Again, the boat is quite pleasant but I personally would not rent it again.
I apologize for the inconvenience. We had a problem with a previous guest checking out late, and we were unable to get the bot ready at your check in time.
That is why we refunded that day.
The last guest also lost the keys, but I have new sets now.
