I am a very youthful and vibrant mid-thirties, I teach dance, choreograph, and work an administrative gig at a relaxed IT company. No idea how I ended up in Nola after 12 years in NYC, but I'm really digging it here. I am always asking friends and family to come visit because I love to host people and show them this awesome city! I am passionate and compassionate, supportive with a kick-in-the-rear when you need it. :)
I used to be a party girl, now I'm a yogini and spiritual seeker. I have no problem with you living it up in the city (I certainly did for years, and I GET IT :) but please don't puke in my home or break things, and please let me sleep in quietude between midnight and 6am. Should be common sense :)
Seeing the world is one of my great passions! I just got my shiny new passport and I can't wait to start filling it up... I've traveled the world performing in Broadway musicals, I've seen a lot of the far East and am working toward going to India this in Feb. 2013 (hence why I'm renting out part of my apartment!) I've seen Mt. Everest, the Potala Palace and Jhokang Temple, the Great Wall of China (twice), the world's best zoo in Singapore, the rainforest in Malaysia, the Kremlin and St. Basil's Cathedral, had dinner with the U.S. Ambassador to China, and so many other awesome adventures. I love to share my experiences and hear about others' travels and passions.
Favorites: Green smoothies, Jacques Imo's (you MUST eat there while you're here!), reading a book by the ocean, the book Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts, the Oneness Blessing (I'm a blessing giver, it's awesome + I will bless you up while you're here if you're interested), travel, dogs, laughter, guacamole, Surrey's for brunch (walkable from my place!), lounging by my pool, my awesome students...
Life motto: You get what you focus on, choose your thoughts wisely :)
