Mary Ann's historic home was the perfect place to stay for our off-season weekend getaway. The location is ideal--less than a 10 minute walk to Main St. in Sag Harbor--and the house itself is cozy and charming. We found everything we needed to feel at home, cooked our own meals, and made good use of the sheltered but sunny backyard. I'm so glad I found her place--the price can't be beat, and staying there felt like a taste of the "real" historic Long Island.
This is a fantastic XIX century old place, in a quiet neighborhood. We loved the fully equipped kitchen, the formal dining room, but our favorite was undoubtedly the cosy living-room and the fireplace! The location is perfect, only 10 minutes away from East Hamptons. The Landlord Mary Ann was very helpful, flexible and welcoming. We will try come back this sumer for sure.
Mary Ann was very very nice to deal with. Lovely home, great price, nice location. Not really any complaints, but I would like to note that the bedrooms did not seem to get any heat, so it was a bit cold at any temperature of the thermostat, but then again, perhaps that was our mishap! I highly recommend this place, but the heat is worth investigating. :)
