Hi -I love to travel, and Air B 'n B has always worked great for me! I work in the energy effieciendy emerging technology field, and travel whenever I can. Come stay in my "townhouse in the trees" while I'm away.

Beautiful setting and convenient location. The purpose of our stay was to "interview" Oregon as a possible destination for relocation. Mira's townhome was well appointed and comfortable. Overall it was a most pleasant experience.
I spent an entire week in Mira's lovely townhome in the trees, while in Portland to attend DrupalCon 2013 (basically a computer nerd convention) at the Oregon Convention Center.
I was looking for a spacious, peaceful place to get some serious downtime while not conventioning, and Mira's place was perfect for that!
It was hard to believe at first that I really had 3 full floors, 2 outdoor decks, and 4 bathrooms (2 full, 2 half) all to myself, but I did. The townhouse was spotless and welcoming when I arrived. Mira left a welcome note (including the credentials for the wireless internet) in an easy to spot location for me, and had the kitchen stocked with coffee, milk, eggs, fruit, and english muffins. She came by to meet me on my first day in the townhouse, and even sweetly offered to let me carpool to downtown Portland with her and her friends, since I wouldn't be renting a car on my trip. I opted to take my chances with public transit, and this turned out to work out just fine. There's actually more than one bus route that gets riders from Tigard to Portland; although the ride could be longish (anywhere between 1.5 to 2 hours), it was easy to figure out the Portland transit system, and I was never out of options (as long as I didn't stay in Portland past 8pm. :-) )
There are great shopping options within walking distance of Mira's place. There's a coffee shop (Primo Espresso) a mere 10 minute walk away; the Plaid Pantry next to it (sort of like a 7-11) even sells wine. There is a beautiful, California-like outdoor mall called Bridgeport Village that is only a 20 minute walk away. It features an IMAX cinema, a seemingly endless array of restaurant/kiosk options, and many, many stores. I strolled over there to visit the Apple Store to replace a lost phone charger, and wound up buying tons of new clothes for myself at one of the boutiques.
On the nights when I felt really lazy, I was happy to order dinners in. I discovered a great pizza place (Pizzicato Pizza) that delivered right to the townhouse.
Having 3 levels of living space felt luxurious. I made the basement level my computer / workout station, and it was wonderful to have such an open space in which to practice my pilates & yoga routines.
A couple of days before my departure, I asked Mira if I could check out late on my last day. I asked her how much she might charge for a late check-out fee, and she charged me a very reasonable $15.00, allowing me to leave at 6:00pm. The opportunity to take my last day nice and easy, without rushing to get out, was almost like a vacation in itself.
I highly recommend Mira's townhome in the trees to anyone who is looking for a spacious, comfortable place in which to visit Portland, Oregon.
Mira is a gracious host. She has a lovely home and we enjoyed our visit very much. The home is centrally located just south of downtown Portland and convenient to I-5. The home is quiet because the dense woods come right up to the back step. Sitting at the end of a cul-de-sac we had no traffic and few people nearby. The house has three levels which is nice if you need to get away but there was also plenty of living room space for our group to gather. Well equipped, with everything we needed. We would love to stay again.
She is a dream guest. I don't know how we have managed to have such interesting, pleasant, considerate people stay with us, but Mira is a sterling example of the kind of people that make hosting so much fun.
Mira was a great guest. She was very quiet and respectful of my home. I would welcome her back. I highly recommend her to all the other host out there.
Mira was a great guest, although we never got a chance to meet. I was too busy at work, and our paths didn't cross. That said, she was quiet, and communicated very well. I'd be glad to host her again.
Mira is great! She very personable and easy going. You can tell right away that she is very sincere. She has an adventurous spirit and wants to ride a bike in every state! So awesome. We would definitely welcome her back in our home!!
Mira was an easy guest. She responded to emails quickly and took good care of our house. Thanks! Gwen
