We had a lovely time staying in Jacky's studio flat. Everything was just as described, in a very picturesque area of Crouch End. The only issue we had was a party her daughter had on the night we arrived. It was extremely loud and went on until the wee hours. I am not sure how often parties like this occur, but it was the only one that occurred during our stay. However, for two very tired travelers, it made sleeping impossible until the noise died down. I would certainly stay here again, but only with the understanding that parties do not occur during our stay. Other than the party, we had a very nice stay. It does take a good bit of time to get into central London, so do take that into account if you are planning to do a lot of sightseeing in the city.
Jacky's apartment was just as shown in the photo. It had its own kitchen & bathroom, plus a nice patio off the bedroom. It was in a nice quiet neighbourhood, and had its own side entry. Everything was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Jacky even provided the "essentials" for our stay, such as tea & coffee etc.
The bus to the underground station is very close, and runs about every 10 minutes - so very little waiting. All very easy. Plus we had free parking in the street outside.
Great Flat! The commute into the center of London is a little far but for the price it's great! Everything was exactly as it was shown on the website!
The space is very quiet and secluded from the house. It has a beautiful garden space as well that adds to the peaceful setting. It feels far from the London downtown but it doesn't really take that long to get there by the Victoria line and the W3 bus. The busses are super regular so you can plan out your trip. I would stay there again.
perfect as the last time.
This studio is simple to reach, affordable, quiet and clean. I would suggest it to everybody. The owner has a welcoming attitude and good manners.
The studio was quiet, clean and cosy, with all of the essentials - exactly as described. The weather was a bit cold, but the small electric heater was enough to keep us warm. Internet connectivity was also quite good. The neighbourhood is really nice and safe. If you don't mind walking for 15-20 minutes, Highgate Underground station proved the best option for us for visiting London city center. If you have luggage, we'd recommend the tube to Finsbury park and the the W3 bus. This is a great place for couples to enjoy London.
Jacky was wonderful, again ! This was our second stay as truly a wonderful little gem in Crouch End. A perfect airbnb stay? We think so ! Wonderful !
This lovely studio flat is even better than advertised. The kitchen is well appointed with ample workspace, pots, pans, silverware, crockery, small fridge, hot plate and microwave -- which means you can really cook for yourself and fully live there. The bed was extremely comfortable, and in the main room of the studio there are also two comfortable armchairs, a shelving unit, wardrobe, chest-of-drawers, and table and two chairs. Unlike many Airbnb places that one sublets from the usual occupant, this flat is designed for renters only, hence both the wardrobe and chest-of-drawers were empty, so you can completely unpack and make yourself at home. Bathroom has great hot water and water pressure. Transportation is dead easy, with bus stop almost literally across the street from the flat, and the nearest tube station (Finsbury Park, with connections to major city center stations/lines) a short bus ride away. Walking into either Crouch End or Muswell Hill for stores, banks, etc. is easy. An additional plus (especially for those who like to jog) is that Alexander Palace and its lovely grounds (and jogging paths through the grounds) is situated about five minutes walk away. Free wireless is an added bonus that helps make this a really super place to rent. Last, but not least, Jackie is very welcoming and easy to communicate with. An ideal place to stay/live while in London, and I fully recommend it.
Me and my girlfriend stayed at Jacky's studio flat for a week and this is a fantastic place to stay in. The area is nice and quiet. It is not too far from a local high street or a tube station. Jacky was very helpful and had everything set up for our stay, including a nifty universal travel adapter. I would recommend her studio flat to others who are looking to stay at the studio flat.
