While visiting Narragansett for a wedding, we decided to go try a BnB and we couldn't have had a better experience with Pam. The location of this home was ideal, being able to walk to the beach and town area. Pam was so easy going and friendly to interact with, and her home is extremely well kept and very cozy. Each morning we went downstairs to be greeted with a spectacular breakfast and coffee. If we are back in the area, there is no doubt as to where we'll be staying!
Wonderful stay. Comfy bed, great location for dining out and beach bumming, yummy breakfasts. Pam is a wonderful, flexible host who went out of her way to see us have a nice visit. Definitely plan to come again.
We had a wonderful time staying at Seafield Cottage. Pam is a great host and serves delicious breakfasts. She was also very accommodating when we needed an earlier time for breakfast.
The cottage is charming with nice outdoor space and is in a great location. Very convenient to the beach and with a couple of good restaurants right down the street. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is tiny but that wasn't a big drawback for our stay.
This is a wonderful bed-and-breakfast, in a great location near an awesome, white sand beach (Narragansett Town Beach). I particularly enjoyed a home-cooked breakfast and flexible check-in/ out times!
This was my first time staying at a Bed & Breakfast - so I did not really know what to expect. I will say that Pam really made my stay outstanding with her warm personal touches, conversations at breakfast and her genuine interest for all of her guests. She was extremely accommodating and I could tell that everyone enjoyed being there. The house is very nice, and even though it is old (built in the late 1800's), surprisingly quiet. The location is perfect for beach activities, since it is only two blocks away. The house is also in walking distance to the BEST burger joint in town, Crazy Burger Cafe & Juice Bar, as well as the Best pizza spot, The Bike Stop Cafe. I even think staying in Narragansett was way better than staying in Newport where my friends decided to stay. I will definitely be back and stay at Seafield Cottage.
Our two day stay at Pam Cottle’s B&B was perfect. The house, which is warm and inviting, is centrally located in town—we could walk to the beach, to any number of great restaurants and stores, and it was nice to be in a neighborhood rather than some hotel. Pam is very friendly and loving and she makes a wonderful breakfast each morning and really caters to individual tastes. Fresh fruit, coffee, tea, orange juice, waffles, a breakfast calzone—you name it, Pam can cook it. Really delicious. We were very comfortable in our room and appreciated how homey everything was—decorated and personal without being fussy. You won’t go wrong at this B&B. We were there for a wedding and the other people attending the wedding were very jealous when we told them about how great our B&B experience was!
Thanks so much for your glowing review, hope you'll travel to RI again soon
What a wonderful home Pam has put together. She is so easy going and accommodating, not to mention nice, that we immediately felt at home. And definitely make time for breakfast with her! We love her place, the bed was sooo comfortable and she made our trip even more special. Can't wait to come back.
Pam was lovely and welcoming, providing a hearty breakfast with fresh fruit. The bed was very comfortable and the decor was Laura Ashley-ish. While it was a little bit dated, it was also cozy and comfortable. The location was a couple of blocks from the beach and walkable to some shops and restaurants. The street is a bit noisy at night but when I shut the windows it was not too bad. Altogether, a nice place to stay.
Pam went out of her way to make sure we had an enjoyable stay!
Pam was amazing and I loved the room and the charming house, accompanied by Pam's stories of its history. She is a wonderful person and her warmth was infectious. She was extremely accommodating and I would love to stay at her cottage again.
Hope to see both of you again too
