Sara was really very helpful and answered all our questions very promptly. The apartment was clean, well positioned and was well set out for my friend and my stay. The only downside to the trip was the shower, the water went everywhere in the bathroom as the water didn't run towards the drain. small nuisance in the grand scheme of things though- enjoyable stay otherwise!
A fantastic residential area that is both beautiful and near the water but also just outside the main city centre. The apartment itself is small but sufficient and cutely decorated. There is a beautiful park close by and it is walk able to the city. Though we actually fou d that the easiest and most efficient way to get around is to get one of the city hire bicycles. You get a 3 day pass for not too much and can pick up a bike just down the road from house (buy card at a hotel or tourist office fist). You can then ccylce into town and drop bike off at another one of their stalls...and continue doing this. Most economical but also saving your feet!
Sara was wonderful. She waited for me at her apartment and showed me how to get to the places I needed to go in Stockholm. She even bought me breakfast for when i arrived! her apartment is very cozy and there is a bus that runs right past it for public transportation. The next time I am in Stockholm, Sara is the first person I will call.
A very nice and comfortable apartment to spend a few days in Stockholm. There is a lot of facilities near the house and you can go walking to Gamla Stan easily.
Even though I didn't get to meet Sara she still managed to be very helpful, and the apartment was perfect for a weekend trip. Highly recommended.
What a great flat! I just stayed there with a friend and Sara was wonderful. She stopped by our first day to make sure everything was alright, and left a map of the local subway stop and local markets. She was also very available if we had any questions before and during our stay.
We arrived quite late at night and Sara's directions from Skavsta Airport were really helpful as it's a far airport from Stockholm as opposed to Arlanda. She put a fold-away bed in the living room which was nice for two friends travelling because we each had our own space.
As far as location, the flat was a 5 minute walk from the water and across from a big park which meant very nice (and close!) strolls but still close to the city center and subway. Though it's not amidst the city center it is a nice, quiet place to stay and still be able to get into town quickly.
I would definitely stay again my next trip to Stockholm.
Second stay was still a charm!
Quiet, sunny, and cozy place just south of Gamla Stan, two metro stops away, with central Stockholm one or two more. Ten minutes' walk to the stations. Really enjoyed staying in the flat.
Sara is a wonderful host and checks in during your stay to make sure there are no problems. Very friendly and helpful, and I highly recommend both Sara and her flat. (It's also near the waterfront!)
