The room was as pictured in the listing and was clean and tastefully decorated. We met Jenny only briefly the first evening and she was pleasant. We were surprised at how far away from Moreton-in-Marsh this place is, as that was where we looked for lodging because we originally planned to come by train. This cottage is two towns away in Oddington. Fortunately, we rented a car, but without it, this would not have been an acceptable location. We didn't feel the directions for how to find the cottage were adequate; we had to ask for help from locals to find it. We visited in early February and though the room has adequate heating, the bathroom has none, so we had to leave the door to the bathroom open -- not the most pleasant situation.
The Place was lovely - I have had one of the best night sleeps in a long time!!!
Very quiet, cosy and clean. It was a particularly cold weekend when I stayed so the bathroom was a little cold but bedroom was nice and warm with a super cosy, comfy bed, tv, and all you need for a short stay.
It was easy to communicate with Jenny and she was happily sharing advises on the area via email. I only met her once in person during the two days stay and she made sure to heck that everything was functioning and that we were satisfied with the room.
I would recommend staying here!
I booked this a as a present for my sister and her partner, Jenny was very quick to respond and easy to deal with.
Kate and Brad lived their stay, thank you Jenny.
Lovely break and a very comfy cosy bed. K=Jenny was lovely.
We were made to feel very welcome throughout our stay. The room was exactly as described. After a day out in the cold winter weather, it was wonderful to return to a warm and cosy room for the night. We will definitely recommend to our friends and family.
What a wonderful couple of days. It was the most perfect little annex- clean, tidy and ideal for a short break. Jenny was very helpful in giving us advice about where to eat and good walks in the area.
The place is so cosy and cute also Jenny treat us very well. It was a beautiful experience, for the staying and the area.
Absolutely happy to repeat it someday.
Jenny was a great host. The property is exactly as described and pictured in the listing. She provided tea and coffee making facilities in the room and ample towels and extra blankets (it was a bit chilly during our December stay). The village of Upper Oddington is very cute and the pub next door is very convenient though we did not eat there. If you are planning a trip to the cotswolds for two you should not hesitate to stay here.
We so much enjoyed our stay. The listing was exactly as portrayed and the Horese and Groom next door was great for dinner. Jenny made us feel very welcome with tea and biscuits. And the internet and cable TV worked well.
My boyfriend and stayed here for our anniversary night during our weekend break in the cotswolds and had a lovely time!!
The room was private and being detached from the house made it feel like we were in our own tiny little cottage! The bed was so comfortable, the shower was good too and the heater warmed up the room quickly. I wouldn't normally watch telly but really enjoyed waking up in the rain and watching telly in bed!
It's close proximity to the pub next door - which despite being expensive was very friendly - meant we could drink and not worry about driving home as our front door was seconds door to door!!
I would recommend this room to anyone wanting a private break in the cotswolds!
