A big WOW for Ronda and this place to stay overnight! The recommendations we received were all absolutely awesome. We went to 'Carmen la de Ronda' even twice. The tapas place leohuguita (probably very misspelled. Sorry, ask the host!) is one of the best for tapas that we found in all Andalucia. As to architecture/ history he highlight was the Palacio del rey moro!!! A fary tale.Still dreaming of it... Make sure you walk very down to the little river underneath the bridge! Its absolutely worth the effort. You'll find one of the last pieces of paradise. Best grades for lively, yet peaceful Ronda. A magical place, especially at night!
Pedro's house very comfortable and in a great location. Parking was also relatively easy which hasn't been my experience in most other Spanish Old Towns I've been visiting.
Pedro was welcoming and easy to connect with. He was readily available for questions and a terrific host. He told us the best places to go which was a big help as there are so many. His house is located in a great area and walking distance to everything.
La casa esta (website hidden) le falta de nada y la atencion de pedro es excepcional. Te sientes como en tu casa y el paisaje es una maravilla.sin duda repwtiremos
We couldn't get this room at that time, But he offered the other his house instead of it. It was good location, very nice house. We couldn't speak Spanish but We didn't have any problem of conversation. He recommended some restaurants to us, So we could enjoy our dinner also.
We had a wonderful stay in Ronda. This beautiful house is in a very good location. You can have a beautiful view at the sunset just around the corner. There is an awesome terrace on the roof. There is everything you need in the house. Communication was very easy and without any problems. We can recommend that house and Pedro as a host to everyone! Thank you very much!
Communication before our arrival was superb. Pedro responded quickly and was very friendly and helpful. Due to a technical problem we could not get the apartment we booked but got a complete townhouse for the same price. All in all a great travel experience, and I can absolutely recommend him. We will come back soon! :)
The reservation was canceled the day before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Do NOT stay here if it's cold and if you are not expert with making fires with wet wood and no kindling. The owner is affable but irresponsible. When we arrived there was no wood and the house was very cold (there are two oil-filled electric heaters for upstairs bedrooms that are not powerful enough to heat the ground floor). When wood was unloaded three hours later, it was wet--wet deep down. It hissed more than it burned. There were no matches. We were given a tiny butane lighter that barely lighted itself. We are from the Pacific Northwest and know fireplaces and wood stoves, which we use as a principal source of heat. The fireplace was filled with old ash; there are no andirons; there is no fire screen; there are no tools for making and maintaining the fire, and none for removing the ash. The result, a generally cold house and a great deal of smoke in the house the second night, permeating lungs and clothes. This house is falsely represented as being heatable with a fireplace.
The coffee maker, owing to its washer being worn out, made steam, nothing more.
On the second day we volunteered to meet the owner in the town where he lives if he'd supply us with a metal shovel and pail to remove the ash and with a coffee maker. He didn't show.
We've been in Andalucia three months, staying principally in air bnb places. They and their owners have all been exceptional and accommodating. This is the unhappy exception. However, the bed was the most comfortable we have had during our stay in Spain.
Our stay in the house in Ronda was very nice. Pedro had a electrical problem in this house so he arranged for us to stay in another house which was also very nice especially since we had the entire house to ourselves. He doesnt live in the house but was available for any help and support when we needed it. I would definitely recommend staying with Pedro while in Ronda.
I had the pleasure of hosting Pedro and his wife for a two day stay in Bergen. They were perfect polite guests. I welcome them back :)
Pedro was very nice guest. My dad welcomed him as I didn't have chance to meet him. It seams like he had good time in Oslo. Would recommend Pedro as guest. Hope also to get chance to see his place in Ronda.
