Hello, I'm French, I am working in digital advertising in Paris. Welcome !
My girlfriend and I had a great experience at Sarah's flat. The flat was clean and well equipped, with a secure lock on the front door. We had an initial email exchange with Sarah to arrange arrival and departure times. We collected the keys from a hiding spot and didn't ever get a chance to meet the host while we were in town. This was fine for us, on a romantic couples trip, but if you're hoping to hang with your host, this might not be the spot.
The flat has decent metro access (Republique makes the most sense, and is about 7 minutes walk from the flat). There are a bunch of little cafes and restaurants in the area, and the neighborhood felt reasonably safe even late at night (but use caution anyways!).
Some pointers for potential visitors: you can tell from the photos that the bed is on a pulley system and raises to the ceiling when not in use. What is harder to see is that when it's in its lowest setting, it's still roughly 5 ft off the ground. There was a little chair left there which I assume was to help the vertically challenged make it up there, but if you're on the shorter side, be aware that it's a decently high jump! Secondly, there isn't a hair dryer there, so either bring your own (and an adapter!) or plan on buying one. Lastly, there is no air conditioning in the flat, and due to the orientation of the windows (all on one wall) it can get rather stuffy. She could put a little fan somewhere in there that would make all the difference. We were lucky that temps never broke 80*F while we were there.
All in all, a great experience!
Adorable apartment in an absolutely amazing location. Building was clean and quiet, the flat itself has everything you need. There's a metro station literally minutes away so you can get to anywhere in Paris in no time at all. Most our afternoons were spent with a bottle of wine and a picnic by the gorgeous canal which, is near enough on the doorstep. The location isn't massively touristy (no English on restaurant menus ect) which is nice if you want a taste of real Paris and need to practice your French! There are loads of fruit stalls and grocery stores nearby (perfect for making a big jug of sangria for a hot evening).
Nothing bad to be said about the flat at all, good shower, comfy bed, no noise. All in all it was absolutely perfect.
What a great location...easy to walk to the metro or lots of sites. Located in an interesting area. The apartment was very clean and had a great shower. Everything we needed was there. We were in Paris in quite hot weather and would have really appreciated a fan as it was uncomfortably hot and it was difficult to sleep in the heat. A breeze would have helped a lot. We had to have the windows open so the noise at night was a bit of a problem. Wifi was good. The map and tips for local shops and restaurants was also a big plus.
Great location - really close to the canal, which is the perfect place to hang out on a nice summer evening.
The apartment was perfect too, just what we needed.
Great place in a perfect location.
The reservation was canceled 94 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Très bien! Sarah est disponible. Le logement correspond à l'annonce. Il est très bien situé. Vous pouvez le louer sans craintes!
Sarah is really kind and the apartment clean and comfortable (amazing bed!). It is located in an internal courtyard, so there's no noise coming from the street even if the zone is animated and full of places to dine or just have a beer. Ideal location to get to the city center.
El departamento es comodo, y confortable, la ubicación es como se la informa, proximo a estacion de subte, el anfitrión dejó la información para el ingreso y datos utiles para movilizarse en Paris,
Es recomendable .
We spent four days in 'closy flat' and everything was fine as you can see in photos.
Sarah she's a great host!
I reccomend this accomodation!!
The flat it's in a nice place of Paris near a lots of bar, boulangeries and many restaurants (french, lebanese, japanese, cambodian and italian) and from five minuts walk to the metro station!
I also liked to see a lot of young people spending their time in evening to the banks of Canal St. Martin!
This is a real Parisian neighborhood not attended by tourists.
Enjoy your trip! ;)
Although we didn't have a chance to meet Sarouk, she left us a great impression for the way she took care of the , thank you Sarouk.
We would like to see you again in Mouzinho 134, where you are welcome!
Sarouchk and her partner stayed with us for a few days and we enjoyed having them around. They were really quiet and respectful, and they kept everything tidy. We higly recommend them to any hosts!!
Respectueux, je recommande.
