The unit was nice and clean and the neighborhood was quiet, safe and lovely. The problem was that the internet connectivity was awful and kept cutting out each day. The problem also was that we had no way to contact the owner since we didn't have an international cell phone with us. We were using the internet to make calls from home and without the internet, it was very difficult. Then we'd borrow phones from our friends to call the owner, but she never picked up the phone. The power also went out one morning, even though we were paying quite a bit per night. So overall it was not worth the price.
A great place to stay! We enjoyed every second we spent in your apartment. The location is excellent to discover Sydney just walking around!
Apartment was absolutely beautiful and spacious. Close to Hisense arena where we were attending a conference. Had excellent communication regarding the key safe, thanks Nicki, so no trouble checking in. Very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed our stay immensely. Would recommend.
We really enjoyed staying in this nice clean and fancy apartment. If I have to be here for business again, I hope I can rent this again....
Awesome place! 100% recommended.
Well maintained, clean, fully equipped, conveniently located. Great communication, just as shown in the pics, convenient parking. Nice secured building.
The pictures in the description definitely are accurate. Fortitude Valley is a very interesting neighbourhood with lots of cool things to see. Loved the place!
Sweet apartment...wonderful views almost 360 degrees from 11 storeys up feels great. Nice short walk to tram stop and central St Kilda. Stayed 4 nights and loved it..cheers
Apartment is located in an ideal position in St Kilda and has excellent facilities.Very modern with excellent security features.
Apartment provided a Nespresso machine for coffee, which we love, but was found to be leaking badly when switched on.Advised Michael in customer services immediately, who confirmed that it would be replaced asap.Despite another 2 phone calls during our 3 day stay,it was never replaced.
Also the dishwasher was full of washed crockery etc,and had a bad smell,as if it had been left there for a few (website hidden) we had to rewash before use.
Worst aspect by far about the apartment, was the loud party held in an adjoining apartment on Friday evening, which started at 11pm and carried on until 5am,with very load shouting and music.Despite attempting to phone after hours customer service on number of occasions, never an answer.Other residents were also complaining, and trying to bang on the apartment door during the early hours but to no (website hidden) makes a mockery of the statement in the folder concerning'no parties and fine applying'
Communication was good, getting into the apartment was flawless. The place itself is very nice -- super clean, tidy, modern, new. We loved it. Kitchen was well appointed, appliances worked very well, nice view from the balcony.
The neighborhood is very cool. Many great cafes and restaurants, and a very nice, fancy little market on James Street.
My only word of caution is that the air conditioning wasn't very powerful, so being in this apartment in the heart of the summer months might be uncomfortable. The morning sun comes into the apartment, which is beautiful, but it gets hot. The bedroom with two single beds doesn't have its own unit, and the one from the main room isn't strong enough to cool that room. We were only there for two days/three nights so we didn't bring it up with Nicki (but I did let Espresso Apartments know through a survey they sent it so it's entirely possible that they'll fix it) -- we could deal with it as is. I just wanted to mention it so other people know it could be an issue.
Overall, I would recommend this place and working with Espresso.
We loved our little 'tree house' room near Bondi Junction. The room was newly furnished and clean with an extremely comfy bed. When you lie down, all you can see are the tree tops, hence the feeling like you're staying in a tree house. There was nice open air kitchen area with good facilities, but it might be a bit cold in winter for sitting outside in the evening. All in all, a great place to stay with friendly owners who didn't intrude on our space. It was a perfect location for us, and we'd definitely stay there again when we're back in Sydney.
Nicki and her boyfriend rented my place for a week in June.
I could not have asked for better guests, everything went smoothly. Even though we never had the chance to meet (I was abroad and when i got back our schedule never met), we were able to coordinate everything and they were just perfect guests!
Clean, polite, understanding couple, they even left me a clean apt, no dishes no laundry (you did not need to guys, but thanks!).
Bottom line, you cannot ask for better guests, don't hesitate and welcome them in your home!
See you guys soon either back in Tel Aviv or in Oz land!
