I am a freelance writer and outdoor enthusiast. My husband, Roger (retired engineer and educator) and I enjoy meeting people from all over the world and traveling to new places. We've lived all over the United States, including Washington, Minnesota, Florida, and New York City (one of our favorite cities in the world, along with Paris!). We now live a quiet, rural life in a cottage on a lake south of Atlanta. At the end of our dock is the 15-foot steamboat (like Bogey and Bacall's "African Queen,"). Roger named it after me, the "Katie Ann, Too."
We've visited Australia, many places in Western Europe, the Caribbean, and Mexico. We also did an interesting house/car/job swap with a gentleman in England one year. I am originally from the Bahamas, one of England's former colonies, and my husband is from the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
