I'm from Asheville, NC, and have a varied background that includes organic family farming, psychology, linguistics, public health, fitness training, gourmet catering, and music industry management.
Most recently I spent several years in South America as an English teacher and Cross-Cultural Professional Development coach.
I love opening windows for people and helping them see that they really can do those things they always imagined.
In addition to my native English, I speak fluent Spanish and a bit of French.
I work a lot, but when I'm not working I like to do things to keep fit, and things that invest in good relationships.
As a guest I am minimalist - I like simply cute and functional.
There aren't many things I CAN'T live without, but the 5 essentials I'd really WANT would be: facilities to make coffee first thing in the morning, good fast internet, ample Hot water, absence of unpleasant noise, and availablilty of special foods and drinking water. I'm a somewhat invisible guest - I need my space to be my hideaway for recharging.
Yes, in fact I do have a sort of a life motto - "Anything but ordinary!"
