My wife and I relocated to Silicon Valley in 2011 when a fantastic opportunity for promotion came up with my career at Microsoft. We love to travel (though we don't get to do so nearly frequently enough)! In particular, we love to stay with locals wherever we go because we learn so much more about the true culture of different regions that way (and frankly, find the best restaurants and most fun activities through locals).
My favorite place in the whole world (after my hometown of Seattle) is Scotland; my sister and I spent several weeks exploring the Highlands, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Inverness, and more. Amazing region.
When I was in Boy Scouts as a kid, I learned a lot of important lessons - the one that may be most applicable for Airbnb is to always leave a campsite (or home, if you're staying with someone) in better condition than it was in when you arrived. I assure you, if we're staying in your home or on your property, my wife and I will leave it in as good a condition as we found it (better, if we can).
