We are very sorry that you were so disappointed in our apartment, but we would like to point to previous reviews as proof that we do our best to be clean and courteous. Future guests should take a look at Grace's review just before this one -- she and her fellow travelers left half an hour before Raquel checked in (hardly enough time to defile the apartment).
There are dark marks on the kitchen tile (a textured surface that has plagued us since we moved in), and hardened caulk in the bathroom sink (a careless contractor), but we don't believe our apartment or guest room are filthy.
It seems that someone who travels with lysol bleach wipes may have a standard that is well above average, and while we learn from every new guests's preferences, I'm not sure that Raquel was prepared to stay in another person's active home (especially when she's traveling with a friend with dust allergies that weren't communicated to us).
Brian shares this home, and although I agree that he is a doll (and I'm sure he was exceedingly polite), he shares my disappointment in this review. I don't believe I was ignoring Raquel when I offered to let her use my cell phone after her unsuccessful search for a payphone.
As I said before, we take all criticism into consideration, and will be extra cautious about cleanliness in the future, but I think that this was all rather harsh and filled with hyperbole. Any future guests should feel free to bring up points in this review, or personal preferences we should know about ahead of time, and discuss them with us.
