I am a teacher at St. Paul's School in Sao Paulo, Brazil - travel being my motivation for living away from my native England. My favourite destinations so far would have to be India (for its humanity), Bali (for the atmosphere and the people), and New York (say no more). I love new experiences and ideas: my current endeavour is learning Portuguese. I am a compulsive reader, and have recently read 'The Pleasures and Sorrows of Work' and 'The Downing Street Years'. The outdoors has always been a passion of mine, as I am a farmer's daughter from rural England and as such enjoy walking and fresh air. I love food and cooking, and am currently trying to get to grips with local Brazilian cuisine. My most recent TV obsession is 'Mad Men'. Five things I can't live without? English tea, my kindle, a paper and pen, my camera and my friends.
I am neat, tidy, respectful and friendly: I have eclectic interests and am always busy, but I'm not a party animal. I am constantly trying to educate myself about the world and attack it wholeheartedly, hence the incessant travel, reading, walking, cooking, socialising, busy-ness and experimentation.
