I enjoy meeting new people, lending a helping hand whenever possible, outdoor sports, camping, hunting and fishing. I have a passion for real-estate and rehabing old houses. I like to think I can fix most anything mechanical or electronic.

John is the best host. The room was cozy and amenities of kitchen, Wi-Fi, and big screen were great. Easy access to I-25. He was a whale of information on places to eat and places to go.
This property is a great option; we’ve noticed that Cheyenne hotels can be unexpectedly full of highway travelers. We enjoyed our stay at this property far more than at the hotels we’ve found in the past. The house has a warm, open feel with great wood floors. The focus of recent renovations has been the kitchen and bath: which are excellent and played a key role in our stay. Our project kept us in town for an extra day. Extending our stay was simple through online booking and contact with the owner. We were so grateful for the last minute accommodation. We enjoyed the neighborhood, the close proximity of the freeway and grocery store, and our little girl really loved watching rabbits in the yard.
We would definitely stay here again.
This house was perfect for us. The location was great: a quiet neighborhood with good freeway access. Very clean and inviting, with a pleasingly swanky bathroom.
Most important for us was the large, well appointed (website hidden) and eating together is key for us, so staying here was ideal.
John responded to our questions promptly and brought over brand new dishes and cutlery when he found out how much we were planning to use the kitchen. He also very kindly accommodated us when we unexpectedly needed to extend our stay one more night.
We had a delightful time in the house and would be happy to stay there again.
John is extremely nice guy, he cooked for us and took the time to show us around Cheyenne. I would recommend Anyone going or passing by Cheyenne to stay with him.
Fastastic stay thank you John it was a real treat entering your home and you sharing your time with me, one of the most memorable outside sits for a long time. Thank you again your a Star !
We stayed in John's 2-BR home while passing through Cheyenne for a night. It was all it claimed to be, which is a clean home with just the basic furniture (exactly as pictured ), a nice kitchen, but very few amenities. I should have read the listing details more carefully as I was surprised the kitchen did not include any glassware, bowls, coffee maker or toaster. There were indeed paper plates and a few plastic bottles of water, utensils and pots and pans - but these alone meant we couldn't eat breakfast the morning we left as we had bread for toast and cereal and milk with us, which isn't so easy to eat without a bowl or mug of any sort. Not to mention any way to even make instant coffee. John did not misrepresent the home however and did warn me beforehand that it was a work in progress. It was clean and warm and in a great, quiet neighborhood. It was fine as a place to crash for a night but not so great if you wanna hang out and eat. I do believe once this place is a bit more set up it will be great.
I was traveling with my family (and two dogs) and we needed a last-minute place to stay in Cheyenne. John responded to my request within 3 minutes. Seriously! While we were driving in from Utah, he stopped by and cleaned the place up, and got it all ready for our midnight arrival. The house was really nice. He explained that it was a work in progress. The furnishings were sparse by some standards but exactly what we needed. Cute neighborhood. It was very clean. Thanks John- happy that we could stay in a warm cozy house and not a Motel 6! :)
John was quick to respond when I was looking for a place at the last minute....appreciated the warm, comfy room that awaited me.
My trip to Cheyenne was fantastic, in very large part due to John being such a gracious host. This was my first Airbnb experience and I was a little hesitant, but John made me feel welcome right away and exceeded my expectations. He is a very welcoming host and went above and beyond to accommodate me, even cooking my steak longer than he wanted to. The home is located close to pretty much everything and is in a quiet, safe area. His two dogs are not only extremely well-behaved, but also adorable and made great companions to someone missing her furry friends back at home. I will definitely stay at one of John's properties in the future and highly recommend him as a great host.
John was very accommodating and friendly. He engages and enjoys meeting people. The room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom too! John's place is very convenient for road trips across the country on #80. And if you want a shot of local whiskey. . . he may even be able to accommodate :-) But if morning coffee is your thing, he'll provide that for you as well.
John is an experienced landlord and very successfully hosted a friend of mine staying for the legislative session in the Capitol prior to listing on Airbnb. He's also a very nice and helpful person. He is in touch with what is going on in his community and would make a great host for anyone that would choose to stay in his listings.
