The tent was set up at the very backyard of the house. It was tidy and private, and I'd no trouble in falling sleep there. Except the bedtime, I stayed at Cece's main house. I was free to use kitchen, bathroom et al. there.
The neighborhood was safe and quiet. The house was in walking distance to BART station and Market.
Cece and other roommates were kind and easy-going. It was a little pity that I didn't talk much with them, as I was busy with my research in most of the time.
Cece is a great host - friendly, chatty and helpful any time. I really liked staying in the tent. If I ever will come back to the Bay area I would stay there again.
Cece's tent was lovely. She has provided lots of covers so its not too cold at night. The location was great for me as it is between the BART station and a bus stop to allow me to get around easily. I would recommend her place as a fun experience and an excellent place to stay if you want to explore Berkeley.
I really enjoyed the stay at Cece's tent. I was a bit busy with the school so I didny have a chance to enjoy yhe garfen that much. If i am gonna br in town again i will definitely stay at the tent again.
Cece is very accommodating and respectful of your privacy. Her garden tent is a peaceful and comfortable space. It's great being able to socialize with Cece and other guests while still having an outdoor abode to call your own. Perfect location right next to Bart and a stone's throw from Ohlone park.
Very comfortable, warm, calm, and cute cats!
Possible to get to bus and BART stations within 1 minute.
I could easily go to Calvin Lab in UC Berkeley by bus almost without walking.
Ms. Littlepage was ALWAYS so kind.
Comfortable stay. Great location in Berkeley. Bike available for exploring. I slept comfortably in the tent, fresh cool air and warm cosy mattress. Nice home and helpful host.
I had such a great time at Cece's house and tent! There is her cosy house, where I could hang out, use the facilities of course and have a nice chat from time to time, there is her beautiful garden, where I would sit and work, using the WiFi (which extends up to the tent!) there is the old schoolbus, which has been turned into a caravan by Jeff. The whole setting was just amazing.
Cece is a wonderful person, she helped me with everything, gave me recommendations for my tours through Berkeley and San Francisco. Together with Jule, who is renting a room in the house and Jeff, we went to the food trucks close to BART station to have dinner on Sunday.
Cece rents out a bicycle for 20 Dollar a week (that's less then what you pay at the bike rentals in the area... for a day!!). It is a solid 16 gear bike, perfectly suited to explore the area and fo through hilly San Francisco.
If you love sleeping in tents (like me), you will like Ceces tent. There is a new air mattress, plenty of sheets and blankets, a carpet lamps, and WiFi. If you are travelling on a low budget, you won't find a cheaper option in Berkeley.
Thank you Cece for the wonderful (and affordable) time I had in the Bay Area!!
My first night in the tent, I endured a thunderstorm which was fantastic, stayed dry and toasty. I felt safe and very private the whole time. Cece offers up her cozy home also, as well as a beautiful garden to hang out and work from. Great location in North berkeley makes this a great deal for visiting Berkeley. There are no surprises, it's a tent with a comfy air bed but by no means a rugged camping experience, unless you choose to make it one.
I had the misfortune of arriving when it was raining all day but surprisingly, the tent kept dry on the inside! It was cold but Cece provided enough blankets to keep me comfy. It as definitely a unique experience and a good deal. The BART station is a block away and you'd have no trouble finding your way around to SF. You have a good amount of privacy, Cece was nice to have a chat with although I didn't get a lot of chances to do so since I was always out and about., and she has the loveliest backyard. I definitely recommend this place for a unique Airbnb experience.
Cece was a wonderful guest, we really enjoyed her stay and would happily welcome Cece back in the future. A highly recommended guest.
It was such fun having Cece stay with me, a little bit of California to light up the dull London Sky, as well as being easygoing, non-demanding and respectful of space, so there is no hesitation whatsoever in recommending her to other airbnb hosts, a 5* guest all round.
