As it was my first time in the US at all, Tracys place gave me a huge feeling of security! It felt like home to me from the first second! The room is super comfortable and your own bathroom is next door, tracy provides earplugs (which i didn't use btw, the room is on the groundfloor, but the neighborhood seems quiet and peaceful to me!), towels and sheets! As she's working all day, i rarely met her, but these few times, Tracy gave me some great advices, tried to help however it was needed and was like a good friend by the first moment! Her dog is a charming cutie, so you don't have to be afraid anyways, the worst thing to happen could be some delay in your plans, because you couldn't stop petting him :)
I wish I could have stayed longer, but whenever I retourn to NYC, Tracys place will definitely be my choice again!!!
Thank you Jackie! I'm so happy you were comfortable and had a great time. Hope to see you again some time in the future.
Tracy arrived at the time she promised. The room and bathroom were clean, comfortable, and cozy. Tracy provided a quick tour of the living room, available backyard, and kitchen as well as the bedroom and bath. She was welcoming, friendly and nice.
Tracy has a dog, but she's conscious of making guests comfortable and aware the dog is around, may nose into your things if you leave the bedroom door open, and keeps the dog upstairs while she's gone.
My only negative for this listing, having nothing to do with Tracy or her home or the accommodation, is the location. While her townhouse is quite close to a subway station and main thoroughfare with buses, it was still further from most of the places I planned to visit. Especially after evening outings, I was not comfortable having to get all the way out to the East Village via subway, alone, at night. This is purely my consideration and may not be a drawback to others. Be sure you know where your accommodations are in relation to the various sites you plan to visit.
Tracy is very nice and a good advicer. The place is very comfortable and cozy. I've never settled myself in like this in a trip before. East vallage is quiet and safe，while convenient to take subway and bus（the L line out of service on weekend though）. Good place to stay. I wish I could stay longer.
Tracy's place was great - lovely room, great location and safe as a solo female. A little noisy at night as the room is on street level, but it is New York and nothing earplugs can't fix, which Tracy kindly provides. Tracy and I didn't overlap much, but she is very friendly and helpful. Also great to have occasional use of the kitchen to store food in the fridge and make cups of tea! No internet access though, which is a pity, although Tracy does not advertise this. And Tracy very kindly was flexible with checkout time as there was no one booked in straight after me. Overall I would strongly recommend!! Thank you Tracy!
What a wonderful place Tracy has! More than exceeded my expectations. The townhouse is spotless & cozy. The guest room and bathroom are very private, and the bed very comfortable. A fantastic location in the East Village, just steps away from restaurants, cafes, etc. on a lovely tree lined street. Tracy was very kind about sharing information on good restaurants in the area. I hope to one day visit NYC again, and would most definitely look to see if Tracy's place is available.
Easy. Efficient. Practical. Homey. Nice, very nice.
A few min walk to the subway, great restaurants within walking distance, very comfortable bed, privacy of your own bathroom, access to the kitchen and a very well behaved doggie!:)
You are free to roam about the city and then return home to a safe nest.
Thank you, Tracy!
I really enjoyed my time in NYC and Tracy's place was a great place to stay. The place was clean and warm and I felt very comfortable there. There is lots of privacy as you have your own room and bathroom too! Tracy's place is also in a great location in the heart of the east village. Your surrounded by cool bars, places to eat, cool shops and really close to the subway. Given that it is not immediately surrounded bars so the room is relatively quiet (I say relatively because its New York!). If I stayed in NYC I would go back to Tracy's place for sure.
Thanks Jeeva! Appreciate your kind words and your offers of help in London. Happy travels and Happy Holidays.
I had a great stay in Tracy's home, she was really welcoming, helpful & interesting. We had some good chats but she's very respectful of space & privacy also. The house is lovely, cosy room & good bathroom. Everywhere is spotless. The neighbourhood is great for exploring the downtown area. Would not hesitate to recommend.
I'm happy to hear you had such a nice time and thank you for the positive review. Happy Holidays!
Tracy was a great host, we already started communicating before my arrival and I was able to check in late. The appartment is very clean, pretty and cozy, I loved the room I stayed in and there was enough space to store your stuff. She also gave me recommendations on what to do & see in the area, great location to explore the East Village! Would definitely stay at her place again.
Thanks Verena! I am happy that you had a nice time. I hope you enjoy the holiday season. Best to you.....
I had such a great time at Tracy's place. She's very kind and helpful so don't hesitate to ask her for advise or anything else. As a solo young female traveller I think that the neighbourhood is safe and a great place to stay in. If I ever come back to nyc I hope to stay there again.
Thank you so much!
