Everything went very well and I enjoyed my stay. D. was very responsive and explained everything very well. I would visit again!
I was met by the host's rep in a very nice, quiet neighborhood of Paris at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. The rep was informative but quite fast and failed to explain a key was needed for the 2nd interior door in the lobby. (in fact was told I did not need to bother with any of the other keys on the ring). The apartment was essentially as advertised except was dirtier than expected and the door lock was problematic. There was also a cable (for the TV) running on the small floor in front of the shower. This was potentially quite dangerous, not to mention unsightly. With such a small apartment (no wider than a single bed + 3 of my shoes) the apartment should have been spotless. I was also not told what to do with any trash since there was no place to put it.
The location of the place is 3mins walk to eiffel tower and champ de mars, which is what i loved most about staying here. You are close to a lot of main attractions like the invalides, grand palais, and if you dont mind walking 30mins to 1hr - you can walk along the seine and pass museum d'orsay, place de la concorde, tuileries garden, the louvre and notredame cathedral.
Had some trouble with opening the door in the first day.. Tip: Pull the door towards you and push the key in - turn key to the right slightly and then quick left..
Cica was helpful when i needed something fixed, like on the second day when water started coming UP the sink drains and from behind the cupboard and into my room, and wet my luggage bag. This happened at 2am in the morning when my neighbour had a shower. Cica had helped to arrange for a plumber to come and fix the old pipes on the same day and the problem never occurrd again in the 2 weeks i stayed.
I would recommend this room for the great location and the 7th arrondissement is very peaceful and safe at night. 5min walk to ecole militaire which is the closest train station. Very easy to get around!
A very humble place right next to the heart of Champ de Mars. Description and pictures are accurate: you'll find yourself in a small but well equipped room with a stunning view of the Eiffel Tower. Apartment is very humble and is held in the 5th floor of an old building, which means there is no elevator at all and on the time of arrival you'll have to grab all your stuff up by stairs. This can be tiring after a long day of tourist walking, but you get used to it.
Apartment is very small, as it only fits a bed, a shower, a sink, a mini-bar, a cupboard and a wardrobe (toilette is outside, as described), which is fine for one person, unless if you're looking for luxury.
Apartment pro is definitely the place you are (neighborhood not only hosts the Tower, but also concentrates good restaurants and museums nearby) with a quite honest price. Ms Krestic is a very lovable person and was very helpful every time I needed support.
The listing is accurately described, in a good location right next to Champs de Mars and the Eiffel Tower. It is small (like described) but fine for 1 person. It includes shower, microwave, mini fridge, and bathroom (down the hall). It is on the 5th floor without a lift/elevator, but that is pretty common to Paris, and it wasn't a problem for me. You have a small window, but the view from it is unbeatable (direct view of the Eiffel Tower). It can get pretty hot though as the sun hits directly all day.
However, the room was very dirty. I don't know if it's always like that, but the floor was filthy, the room was dusty and things were left lying around.
I enjoyed my stay very much. D was very helpful in helping me find my way to the location. The room wasn't so big, but it was spacious and comfortable enough for one person. The view of the Eiffel Tower was amazing, probably the best feature the room had, making it well worth staying there. Hopefully I can come back to France and stay here again.
Was a good location close to the metro. Seeing the Eiffel Tower in the window was beautiful! Def a small space but everything is there. D was very nice and pleasant. Be ready for a good leg workout as it is up 5 flights but adds to the charm ;)
L'appartement est idéalement situé. Un accueil très chaleureux. J'y ai passé un excellent séjour !
My stay in Cica's room was nice. Unfortunately Cica was not there to receive me but she booked a reception and key delivery service for me and was often checking that all went well. Though away the whole time, Cica made herself available to me and always made me feel comfortable to ring her or email her about anything regarding the room. The room itself offers a stunning view of the Eiffel Tower. It is small but well equipped and self-sufficient, beside the toilet that is located outside on the hall. It's also very well located. It is in an upper-class part of the city that feels safe and it is situated just minutes away from different kinds of public transport, 3min from the Eiffel Tower as well as from an array of restaurants and cafes. There is also a supermarket in a nearby street. I would definitely recommend staying there to anyone travelling on their own and wanting a nice and cheap Paris experience.
Ma foi, je n'ai fait que croiser Dina à la gare de l'Est, mais dans tous les cas, il me semble qu'avec ses ami(e)s, elles ont apprécié leur court séjour.
