My stay in Cica's room was nice. Unfortunately Cica was not there to receive me but she booked a reception and key delivery service for me and was often checking that all went well. Though away the whole time, Cica made herself available to me and always made me feel comfortable to ring her or email her about anything regarding the room. The room itself offers a stunning view of the Eiffel Tower. It is small but well equipped and self-sufficient, beside the toilet that is located outside on the hall. It's also very well located. It is in an upper-class part of the city that feels safe and it is situated just minutes away from different kinds of public transport, 3min from the Eiffel Tower as well as from an array of restaurants and cafes. There is also a supermarket in a nearby street. I would definitely recommend staying there to anyone travelling on their own and wanting a nice and cheap Paris experience.
The location is great and the view from the small window is spectacular. The toilet is private but down the hall a bit. The space itself is adequate and as stated very small. Looks like the photos. Medium level of cleanliness. The hostess is nice and accommodating. Very close to metro, restaurants, etc.
nice guy. simple but fine house. great swimming pool in a garden with opportunities.
The reservation was canceled 5 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Cica was very nice and so was the appartment. Highly recommended
Had a wonderful stay here. The pool was nice and the beach just across the street! Nice area, off the beaten path a bit from Cannes downtown. No parking issues, was quite convenient to drive downtown at night and come back with spots available. Apartment was nice, a bit outdated but was expected. Great location for families.
Cica was extremely helpful with suggestions, ensuring our stay was fine and was prompt with any questions we had. I also had a positive expense with her sending me something I had left behind.
Cica was a great host, she picked us up from the bus station in Cannes for free and will pick up from Nice airport for only 50 Euro. (A lot cheaper than the taxis!) But gave us privacy for the rest of the stay.
The garden, was very peacfull and the pool very clean and the view was wonderful. Sitting outside eating breakfast or having a glass of wine at sunset with the hills in the background was one of the highlights of the trip.
The house itself was a bit rundown and the furniture a little tatty, but it had everything that was needed and this didn't detract from our stay.
Cica and her husband live in the level above and it was a little noisy on occasion, but again this was a minor irritation only.
The house is about 15 minutes walk from the centre but in a very quiet area close to small supermarkets and a very nice bakery. So overall the location couldn't be better.
This was one of the best breaks I have ever had and without the couple of negative points above it would have been pretty much perfect. I would reccomend to anyone who is not looking for a luxury apartment type holiday.
The view is indeed very nice. The pool(s), there are 2 of them, are also very nice, they are great, my kids loved the pools. The neighborhood is also very good if you happen to have kids. There are markets, bakery, pharmacy and restaurants all within a block from the complex. The beach is 100m away! All that made the stay memorable. However the unit is old and dirty and can use a major renovation. This rental unit is part of a larger vacation property. The owner doesn't live there and the owner isn't the host. The host rents out the unit on the owner's behalf and she doesn't really know the unit very well. The furniture, the dishes, tables, chairs, bed are all low quality.
The place is also very very hot in the summer. I spent an entire afternoon looking for a fan! The host would not provide one.
The location was great! The apartment was not. Next time I would simply rent from the vacation hotel (Pierre & Vacances) that operates most of the other rental units on the same premises.
We had a lovely 2 weeks' stay. The setting is lovely - in the foothills of the mountains! The apartment itself is basic, but spacious. And the building it is in, the garden and the pool make for a beautiful, restful stay. There are no provisions left, as there have been in other airbnb flats I've stayed in. This is because no-one actually lives in it. The lovely Cica and her family live upstairs. So you need to buy soap, detergent, basic food supplies. I'm mentioning this as other places I've stayed have all been lived in, so had these things there, of course!
The internet connection wasn't good - so I wouldn't try running your business from there, as I did. However, Cica promises me that this is being remedied!
The walk to the house from Cannes is very steep - and it was very hot when we were there. But there is a short cut - and also it's near a few bus routes. Having said that, the views on the walk are absolutely stunning!
Cica herself is absolutely lovely and very helpful. She picked us up from the station, which was a great start to our stay.
In summary, I'd say the villa is a fantastic place to stay. All our friends were very jealous! I'd definitely stay there again.
The apartment is in the nice area, near the beach.
But not very clean!
Ma foi, je n'ai fait que croiser Dina à la gare de l'Est, mais dans tous les cas, il me semble qu'avec ses ami(e)s, elles ont apprécié leur court séjour.
