We loved this place!!! Antonio did a great job of describing all that this cute fully furnished apartment has to offer! From the moment I began inquiring about his apt. Antonio responded within the hour...even if I messaged him at all hours of the night! The neighborhood is nice and quiet and it is less than a block away from the subway! We feel that our trip to NYC was so amazing because we stayed here! With great food nearby and the city at our fingertips we played hard during the day and happily came back at night to our little piece of home! Thank you so very much Antonio!! :)
Clean & cozy. Nothing luxurious (as expected), but very nicely decorated. I felt right at home. Would definitely stay again!
Antonio's space in Washington Heights is super cute. The 1br/1ba apartment sits atop 5 flights of stairs, there is no elevator in the building. Good exercise. Not recommended for those with heart conditions or lack of patience.
The place was clean. The kitchen allowed for cooking, (gas range, empty but operating fridge, various spices and staples were provided). There are touches that say someone lives here, (magazines, interesting books, hats on the wall). It was nice. There is not a working TV or wi-fi. There is a fire escape that allows you to step out and look east to see some of the GW Bridge.
The bed is comfortable. Hangers were provided. The bathroom offered a few toiletries. The shower's water pressure was weird, but usable.
The only cons were the five floor walk up, (I can get lazy), lack of wi-fi, and a school that sits across the street. In theory one should be awake by the time school children hit their first recess, (9-ish?). That not always the case.
I would stay here again if I were in the area and needed a room. It is a good deal in NYC for an entire apartment and that made up for the paltry cons.
Thank you Antonio.
I have wonderful 4 days stay at Antonio's apartment.Antonio is a responsible person. He told me so much message about his apartment before I arrive. His apartment is very convince, only take you about 5mins reach subway on foot. The clean environment also the point that I recommend others choose here to stay.
Once we arrived, Antonios aunt Rocio welcomed us in the apartment and gave us the keys. She told us where to find the closest subway and left us a rechargeable metro card we could use for our stay. We recharged it with 30 Dollars and could go around with public transport for 7 days which was quite a good deal. :) Rocio was very kind and answered each and every question we had. Furthermore, she assured us to be only one block away and in case we need anything we could call her. Perfect! The flat is clean and really close to the subway (2 min. walk). It is a good starting point for exploring Manhattan. Taking the A train it takes you only 20 min to Columbus Circle. It is a latin american neighbourhood where people rather speak Spanish than English. Just around the block is a great place where you can get delicious 'empanadas' and you will have the opportunity to practice your spanish language skills :) Due to the primary school that is on the other side of the street, it turned out to be a little noisy in the mornings as the bedroom window is on the street side. Regarding the bathroom I need to make one remark: for me as a woman with long hair it was tricky to get my hair washed in the shower. The water pressure was quite low which made having a shower not a real enjoyable experience. But I´m sure the shower issue can be solved easily.
All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Antonio´s apartment.

We went to NY for one week. Antonio's apartment was perfect!! His aunt and sister are truly kind and welcoming. The subway is next to the block, so everything was easy. The neighborhood is very safe. I strongly recommend this place.
Me and my boyfriend went to NYC on easter holiday for one week and we loved staying at Antonio's apartment. the place is nice, clean and very confortable, it's near to the subway, to the markets and restaurants. Unfortunately it is located five floors up and there isn't elevator but we did fitness :-)
Minor issues are little space made available for us to put our things in/on, the TV was broken and near at apartment there is a school and the students are some noisy!!
Antonio is a great guest, very kind, professional and very prompt to respond by mail for any information. His sister is very kind, she waited us and gave us the apartment's key. A great experience!
many thanks Antonio!
Antonio's apartment is simply one of the best options to stay in NYC, whether if you are staying a couple of nights or a couple of months. It is comfortable, quite, bright and very clean. The subway (A train, which takes you anywhere in the city) is very close (less than 1 minute walking) and you also have places to buy groceries and many other things. It is located in a very nice and safe neighborhood. I truly recommend it.
