I'm from Portland, Oregon. I work for a locally owned grocery store called New Seasons Market, we are the like the little guy in town up against Whole Foods. I'm passionate about living local, buying local, putting money back into my community and watching it thrive because of that effort to support it on that level. I'm a produce guru, and get excited when boxes of maui gold and biker dude ginger shows up for me to display and educate people on.
If you have fruit trees on your property, I will probably be eating from them daily if you let me. :)

I'm looking for an adventure vacation. I don't care to be put up in a fancy hotel, I want to venture into waterfalls, surf, and snorkel. I would rather put my hotel $ in a locals pocket over the hilton any day.
This time of year i'm on the mountain, skiing...getting my adrenaline kicks until summer comes back to the wet region of the Pacific Northwest. I'm a cyclist, skier, kayaker, hiker, photographer, motorcycle rider, food lover, animal lover, jet skier, power boat motorsports, long board cruiser, artist, disc golfer, yada yada....

I am the type of person who jumps in a car with no direction and just goes. I like to get lost and find myself making memorable experiences that last a lifetime. I want to meet people and make friends....I don't care about going on tours in big partner thinks i'm crazy for wanting to stay in someones home and not a hotel. I can't think of a better deal, stay with a local, better price than a hotel, away from all the business and tourist crap and making lasting relationships.

I'm clean, tidy, and you probably won't see much of me unless you want to venture around with me.
I'm looking for a host who is willing to educate me somewhat on what to do and what not to do. I could listen to island history or just stories if you want to share. For me, it's all about the experience, adventure, the people, and of coarse.....FOOD!

An added bonus for me would be to use any equipment you may want to let me borrow or rent from you such as a kayak, paddle board, snorkel gear, and a bicycle.

I will most likely be renting a car, but would much rather rent a car thru a private party, again, please email me if you have any suggestions. Like I said I would rather spend my money wisely to where it benefits not only myself but someone locally as well.
