There seemed to be a system error which resulted in incorrect offer that the guest has accepted. I sent to the guest a special offer for a long term stay of 8 months along with the message explaining the offer. It turns out that my message got truncated and reduced to 'hello' only and that the offer for 8 months stay went out with $0 value. The guest has accepted it as he did not receive my message with the offer explanations and so I was forced to cancel it because obviously an 8 month stay , even in our shared accommodation that is very affordable, is worth more than... .$0. Once again, our apologies go to the guest event if this cancellation was a result of a technical error.

Hello Khalid, your rating of our service and property is both inaccurate and unfair. As explained to you already many many times, you have booked the room in a shared apartment that was clearly described on the site with photographs. Upon your arrival we have placed you (with your agreement) in another apartment with similar characteristics , which had less occupants (at no extra cost). But when we received a last minute booking we could no longer offer you the luxury of an empty apartment and kindly asked you to move to the room you originally booked and paid for. If you wish to have privacy and your own room or apartment we have other options for you, and at their own rates. When you decided to cancel the rest of your stay we did not hod on to your money but refunded you the balance - something which is against our cancellation policy. We apologized repeatedly for the inconvenience it may cause, although this was a possibility you accepted at the time. It seems that no matter what we did to make you feel welcomed and comfortable, you just decided not to be happy. All we can do is try, but shared room with 3 other guests is what it is and I strongly encourage you to consider all the information about the rental, including the price, before you define your expectations so that the professional, polite and experienced hosts like us do not get blamed when you fail to do so. PS: My partner and YOUR HOST has taken extremely good care of all your needs and concerns, no matter how unreasonable. No, I could not meet you in person due to family emergency, as already explained to you. But despite my absence I have made all the necessary arrangements so that my partner attends to you and all your needs. Clearly you could not appreciate that either.
(ENGLISH VERSION BELOW). Purtroppo la mia esperienza di hosting con Veronica e le sue 5 compagni di viaggio era meno piacevole. Mentre la comunicazione che porta al suo arrivo è stato buono, gli ospiti hanno lasciato la mia zappa con diversi danni minori e ha rifiutato di assumersi la responsabilità di esso. Vetri rotti, copertura tavolo bruciato con cera calda, luogo matts macchiati (al di là di pulizia), intasato scarico della doccia dalla quantità eccessiva di capelli (Che ha richiesto un servizio idraulico a 100 euro l'ora - si, la Francia è costosa), lampada rotta è quello che ho trovato dopo il check out. Quando è stato chiesto se qualcosa è stato quello di segnalare, solo un vetro rotto è stato menzionato. Questa è la mia casa e mi lasciò con gli sconosciuti a prezzi accessibili nella speranza che si cura per le mie cose in modo corretto. Purtroppo questo non era il caso. In realtà quando ho sostenuto queste spese Veronica mi ha mandato una lettera dal suo avvocato. Ora ho lasciato con 300 dollari di bolletta da pagare e una recensione negativa. Fortunatamente in tutti gli anni sono stato un ospite che ho ricevuto nulla, ma ottime recensioni e mi impegno a continuare il nostro elevato livello di servizio a tutti gli ospiti ... purché rispettino la mia casa e dei suoi dintorni. E se qualcuno dei nostri futuri ospiti non si può estendere questa curtesy quindi si prega di continuare a cercare perché la mia casa non è un luogo adatto per tali ospiti. NB: In 8 anni di hosting su AIRBNB questa è la prima volta che sono stato costretto al risarcimento danni da veramente ospiti. Vi farò fare le vostre conclusion. /// (ENGLISH VERSION) GUESTS REVIEW IN ENGLISH (by (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) translate): very pretty house, such as photos and quiet neighborhood close to downtown. The only flaw: the landlord, Peter, that at the end of stay has tried to trick us asking for compensation for damaged things we had not damaged, apart from a glass that I gladly paid (the most beautiful was the request for 100 euro for 'hydraulic because there were too much hair in the shower). Fortunately AIRBNB is a great site and after some checks has refused his request. I will never go back! Such people should not rent homes. Not recommend !!!!! /// MY RESPONSE: Unfortunately my hosting experience with veronica and her 5 traveling companions was less than pleasant. While the communication leading up to her arrival was good, the guests left my hoe with several minor damages and refused to take the responsibility for it. Broken glass, burned table cover with hot wax, stained place matts (beyond cleaning), clogged shower drain from excessive amount of hair (which required a plumber service at 100 EUR per hour - yes, France is expensive!), broken lamp is what I found after their check out. When asked if anything was to report, only one broken glass was mentioned. This is my home and I let it to strangers at affordable price in hope that they will care for my belongings properly. Unfortunately this was not the case. In fact when I claimed these expenses veronica sent me a letter from her lawyer. Now I left with 300 dollar bill to pay and a bad review. Fortunately in all the years I have been a host I received nothing but excellent reviews and I am committed to continue our high level of service to all guests... as long as they respect my home and its surroundings. And if any of our future guests can not extend this curtesy then please keep on searching because my home is not a suitable place for such guests. NB: In 8 years of hosting on AIRBNB this is the first time I was forced to claim damages from truly guests. I will let you make your own conclusions.
