I am an adoptive New Yorker and native Quebecois, Canadian and Swiss (put it in the order of your choice).
Marc's place is awesome, the neighborhood is nice and quiet and the house is conveniently situated 2 small blocks from the subway.
We took care of the cat during our stay, she is very sweet and affectionate, a great company for our nights in the porch with a six-pack of beer and a flameless candle.
Communication with Marc was always fast and fluid.
Looking fwd to staying there again!
Marc's house is very charming as well as the area. The location is also very convenient, 7 mns from the train station NewKirk Plaza with a direct connection to the main Manhattan stations (midtown to uptown). Perfect accomodation for 6-7 pers. Mark really takes care of his guests, warm helpful and welcome attitude. I strongly recommend a 'family' experience in Brooklyn!
Wonderful house, very spacious, and Marc and his family were super friendly and helpful!

The ideal visitor, definitily, and in all respects. A modern gentleman, with a perfect dose of humour.
Marc is a trusted friend we have known for many years, super nice, totally straightforward and reliable. Their house is a beauty and the neighborhood (Ditmas Park) is truly one of NY's best-kept secrets.
This bright, sunny and inviting house is a perfect base for exploring New York and Brooklyn. Marc and his family are great - really welcoming of other cultures and travellers, easy to communicate with, very helpful with lots of NY tips to share as well.
I'm an active member in the airbnb community, and share with Marc being a combo of New Yorker/Quebecois/Canadian/intrepid traveller. We have known each other for several years, and he and his family are the most welcoming people you could hope for as hosts! Their historic home is truly a haven, a stone's throw from bustling New York City, in its personal touches, charming character (porch! swing! clawfoot tub! seriously!), and great neighbourhood, in between beaches, park and city.
Great and huge house with all the facilities and nice garden.
lovely people with international culture and background. Speak both English and French. Work at the UN and know NY very well.
