I'm the Owner and Executive Chef of Aliseo Osteria in Brooklyn. I grew up in the kitchens of Porto Recanati, on the Adriatic Coast of Italy. After coming to New York and working as a commercial photographer, I opened Aliseo in 2003 and in 2005 I opened Amoriina Cucina Rustica.
Aliseo and Amorina are considered 2 of the mainstay of Brooklyn, creating handcrafted foods, in the spirit of "farm to table" philosophy. I travel frequently to Italy, in a sort "continuing education" and search for new ideas and suppliers, touring wine producer and small cheese factories.
