I'm a British born New York living man. I work in advertising, love music and riding bikes.
Apartment was a great quaint home that was surrounded by some great restaurants. Would definitely stay again.
Robert's apartment truly did feel like home! It is a very comfortable space with everything you could need to enjoy a visit to the city that never sleeps. The kitchen was a wonderful bonus, especially with an affordable grocery store 10 steps from the front door! The bed was quite comfortable and the heating was very responsive (important through the winter months!). As mentioned in an earlier review, it is a bit of a hike to the L line subway, but we discovered on our second day that a cab is a mere $5 if you're not up for the walk, or it's raining buckets :) Robert had to be out of town during my stay, but his wife and friend were able to arrange for me to get the keys quite early on a Sunday morning, which I appreciated very much. Thank you very much for your hospitality Robert and Clo!!
The apartment was really nice and very spacious for the East Village, very comfortable and spotless. Communicating with Robert about picking up the keys was easy! Great location, there is so much going on in the East Village. The apartment is a good walk from the subway stops - it didn't bother me because I like to walk, but just as an FYI. There is also a bus stop right outside the apartment. Great stay, great place!
A delightful apartment, in a wonderful area of Manhattan, and an attentive host couple, whom I wish all the best for the future.
Rob is really nice and helpful!
The place is super super super clean, wide, and pleasant. With all you need to spend a wonderful time in New York! We stayed there for 2 nights (4 people).
I'll definitively recommend it without any doubt!
Robert and Col were fantastic guest! Easy going and friendly, it was a pleasure to meet and host their stay in Cambria. Lovely people, you will be very lucky to have them as your airbnb guest. A++++++++++¥
Come back any time!
