Courtney is an acupuncturist and massage therapist who loves yoga, cooking, reading, and our cats. Candace owns a wellness spa nearby and has lived in the city for over 20 years. We value a neat, friendly space and plenty of communication.

I was fortunate to stay with Courtney and Candace for a month while I looked for permanent housing in SF. The location is really great. You're near Dolores Park, a quick walk to the Castro bars, and a ton of great restaurants. They just put in a new comfy bed in the guest room, so disregard the previous bed comments. Yes, there are two cats but you can keep your door closed of course. I am someone who hasn't had great luck when it comes to roommates, but Candace/Courtney were great roommates and very knowledgeable about the city. I really did luck out finding this airbnb.
Candace and Courtney have created a lovely home--making a cozy apartment inviting and warm. They are gracious hosts, friendly, helpful and nice people to spend time with. Candace had great recommendations of places to go. I actually went to the spa she owns, (massage, facial treatments) which is about a 15 minute walk and is fantastic! (check out InSymmetry Wellness Spa). Be advised: anyone with pet allergies should stay elsewhere, but cat lovers will love the place--the pets and owners alike! Thanks so much!
Courtney and Candace were great hosts with a very easy going nature. From the moment I made my reservation, they were quick in responding to any of my questions, and made check-in/check-out a breeze. When I arrived my room was clean, comfortable, and well kept. Candace was able to assist me in getting around SF and made sure to include some recommendations on where to eat and drink. Overall I had a great experience, and would easily recommend this airbnb to anyone looking to SF at an affordable price.
I rented the room for a friend from out of town, and she didn't feel comfortable staying there because the bed was uncomfortable, the room was small and crowded with stuff including a big cat stand. Cat hair was on the bed and everywhere else, and the bathroom wasn't tidy. It wasn't worth the money, in fact my friend ended up renting a room last minute at the Westin for the same price. The location is very lively, a real taste of San Francisco - unfortunately we haven't found any hotels in this area.
Courtney and Candace are two nice and easy going host. We didn't get to see them a lot cause we were out visiting all day and back at but enjoyed our stay at their house.
A very central location for the lower half of the city, and a charming period house. Lovely hosts too, shame we only had 2 days to spend exploring this area.
Candance is really amazing host and also the plase is very good locaded, just a few block from castro area.
Candance help us and reccomended very good restaurants.
Also the cats are really cute!
Thanks a lot!!
Courtney and Candace were amazing hosts. I felt at home and they gave me all sorts of great advice about the neighborhood. they are warm and great hosts. I felt at home. Great neighborhood, amazing food all around.
Courtney and Candace were gracious hosts and their beautiful home is located in a sweet spot near Noe Valley, the heart of the Mission, and Lower Haight. You can experience a little of everything with their comfortable apartment acting as a nice home base. They had great suggestions for food, local events, and sites. Checking in and checking out was a breeze and they were communicative and welcoming throughout. Our room and their home in general was clean, comfortable, and cozy. I would recommend Courtney's and Candace's place to anyone looking for a safe, friendly, and fun place to stay!

very cool people clean and respectful
Great guests! Easy, independent, respectful, grateful, considerate, neat--isn't that everything a host can ever want in guests?
Courntey and Sara are very nice, autonomous young women, pleasant to live with.Discreet and very respectful, it was a pleasure to welcome them and to exchange with them on the history of the area. They are welcome again in our house. Thank to both of them for their kindness.
Thank you for visiting us in Sacramento! We were sad to see you two go home. Really enjoyed your short stay with us and your engaging conversations with us. We definitely have to get together either in Sacramento or Bay Area.
p.s. If you are an Airbnb member and reading this, you definitely MUST have Candace and her partner as your guest. They are simply great guests!!!
My friend and I had a great time staying with Courtney and Candace; they are both easy-going and welcoming and their apartment is in a great location for getting around the city. I'd definitely stay with them again and absolutely recommend them to anyone staying in San Francisco.
I showed up to Candace and Courtney's apartment nervous and apprehensive. It was my first time in San Francisco and my first time using this website. Little did I know I was in for a treat. They are very welcoming, caring, and friendly ladies. They gave advice on where to go and places to visit. One night we had a family style dinner and then went bowling. Candace also enlisted her brother as a tour guide for San Francisco. I saw almost every site on the list of where to go. Their location is quite convenient and enjoyable. I definitely recommend their place to stay, not only for business but also for travel and fun. I'm glad I chose them for my first experience with airbnb :)
It speaks volumes that there is only one negative review. I have lived upstairs from Candace & Courtney for some time now, and I have never had a noise issue with them. They are charming, fun, considerate hosts in a lively popular neighborhood. Many of their guests have become their friends. Some people need to stay in a midtown hotel with earplugs and blackout curtains, and pay typical SF hotel prices. If this is not you, you will have a wonderful time here!
Courtney and Candace were wonderful hosts! They're very friendly and accommodating, and had lots of recommendations for things to see and places to eat in the city. Their apartment is just down the street from the park, surrounded by excellent cafes and practically next door to the Bi-Rite Creamery. There's also a great climbing gym (Mission Cliffs) a few blocks away. I highly recommend staying here - thanks for putting me up on my first trip to San Francisco!
