The Asheville Sanctuary is a wonderful place to stay. Quinn was very friendly and the house was clean and cozy. I would recommend this place to friends and family.
I had an incredible stay at Ashevillage. It was my first time in Asheville and they made me feel welcome right away. I made friends with some of the other guests and apprentices so I never felt isolated. It's a peaceful atmosphere....nothing like going to sleep to the sounds of crickets and frogs in the sanctuary and waking to the birds singing their beautiful melodies. I spent a fair amount of time in the meditation room overlooking the sanctuary. I also found an incredible book in the "reading room" that they let me borrow until I finished. Thank you. I went and bought my own copy and going to take a class on the subject. I would definitely recommend the Sage Room or any other room at Ashevillage.
Thank you Ashevillage for putting us up this weekend! We had a wonderful time and our stay was fantastic!!!
The house was beautiful, the company was phenomenal, and the garden was perfect! Close to downtown, but also like a little sanctuary nearby. Really wonderful, and I would stay again! Thanks, Quinn!
Quinn was such a kind and pleasant host, and the Ashevillage Sanctuary was absolutely gorgeous. She gave us a room upgrade, even though we did not ask, and that made our trip even more special. I loved that the neighborhood was quiet but that it was still so close to downtown (a 10 minute walk), and I'm so glad it was pet friendly so our dog could come with us. I highly recommend Ashevillage Sanctuary for your next trip to Asheville!
This place was nice and calm and very close to downtown so we could walk around town. It seemed like a fine neighborhood.
We had a really nice stay at the Ashevillage Sanctuary this past weekend. Everything about ourstay was clear and straightforward. The location was great -- easy walking distance to downtown, good parking, informal, quiet house. It was nice meeting other people staying at the house and Quinn was warm and welcoming. We enjoyed taking a look at the winter garden and some of the building projects on site and would return there (especially when it's warmer!)
Upon arrival, I was greeted by Quinn, very outgoing and passionate about hosting people. She even hand wrote me a welcome card! The house was kept clean throughout and smelled wonderfully from fresh herbs and spices cooking. Great place to stay!
We had a Great time staying in the Rose room. The room was as advertized and the house was spacious and comfortable. Although we arrived too late to be greeted by Quinn, she was thoughtful enough to leave us a delightful welcoming note with instructions for the keys and parking. The neighborhood and felt safe and within convenient walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants downtown. We would definitely stay at Ashevillage again when traveling thru the area.
Asheville Sanctuary was awesome! It was exactly as advertised so be sure to read the description in full. The space is very serene and enjoyable, and Quinn was an awesome and easy-going host.
You will be in close proximity to the guests in the other 3 rooms (one shared shower). Also this is an older house that is heated by wood, which I very-much enjoyed but might not be for everyone.
The place is super close to downtown, so it's extremely convenient in that regard. If you're looking for a chaming and eclectic place, I'd recommend staying here.
Ben is a kind and considerate guest. He was a pleasure to get to know and a wonderful guest. He is welcome back anytime.
