Brenda was incredibly helpful and friendly as we explored Charleston, as we are hoping to move there in the near future. She gave us very helpful information on where to go, what to do, and the best food places. She has a beautiful home that we were so fortunate to stay in- on extremely short notice. We will be visiting Charleston again soon to look at apartments and explore some more- definitely will be staying in touch with Brenda for out next trip. Thanks so much Brenda!
This was our first AIRBNB experience and it was a very positive one thanks to Brenda, her beautiful home, and good location. Brenda was very helpful in deciding what to do and NOT do in the Charleston area. The accommodations were as described and it was delightful to sit on the porch looking at the intercostal waterway. The beach was an easy walk. We did a lot of downtown Charleston exploring and the drive downtown was a fairly easy 20 minutes or so most times. There are plenty of good eating options on Isle of Palms and the connected Sullivan Island so you don't have to drive far for meals. Thanks Brenda for this good introduction to AIRBNB!
Brenda was very kind and gracious. Her home is absolutely beautiful. She allowed us our privacy but was very willing to answer questions and give us advice on restaurants to visit, etc. The house is in a beautiful , quiet neighborhood. It was a wonderful retreat !
Very nice neighborhood. She made us very welcome. The home was quite attractive.
Brenda was a wonderful hostess. The rooms are private rooms in her house and were just right for what we needed. It was just like staying with family for the holidays.
This was truly a taste of paradise. Gorgeous house with lots of cozy spots to eat, chill, watch nature, see boats going up and down the waterway. Room was clean and bed sumptuous; bathroom great with lots of hot water and good pressure. Sheets and towels top notch, use of beach equipment and shower, parking adequate, location walking distance from lovely uncrowded beach. Nearby grocery and public park and marina with fun restaurant. Brenda is a warm and knowledgable hostess, gives you your space but willing to chat anytime. She gets a feel for what you'd like and can make recommendations. Minutes to all kinds of great sights to see around IOP and Sullivans and Mount Pleasant and of course easy access to downtown Charleston's delights. Can't say enough good about this airbnb choice! Would go back again in a hearbeat!
Excellent experience. Property was clean, warm and welcoming, and Brenda is a jewel! Sweet touches like the porch and coffee--so thoughtful.
Brenda was an amazing host with a beautiful home. We had a lovely bedroom with a bathroom close by and had use of the fridge as well.
The Isle of Palms is truly paradise with lots of great restaurants and beaches. This is a destination not to be missed! Thank you Brenda, we will be back!
The neighborhood was beautiful. Convenient location to the beach and Mount Pleasant. Brenda's home was just as it looked in the photo. Beautifully decorated and warm. Brenda was very nice and accommodating.
I traveled to the Isle of Palms, SC for the weekend to attend a wedding at the Wild Dunes Resort and decided to stay in the room at Brenda's home. Her home and the room are as advertised, "A Touch of Paradise." The interior is clean, nicely decorated, warm, bright and friendly. The room that I stayed in had a double bed with a foam mattress which was extremely comfortable. There was a dresser and a nice sized double closet in the bedroom. The full bathroom, which I had private use of, is located just outside the bedroom across the hallway. I was provided with both hand and bath towels. The host Brenda was very friendly and made me feel right at home. For brunch Saturday I decided to try one of Brenda's suggested restaurants, the "Morgan Creek Grill" located about 1 mile from her home (Brenda supplied a binder with suggested restaurants, the home's Wi-Fi password and some other information). I decided to walk there and got a good feel for the the neighborhood which is very nice and the neighbors who are very friendly. There are nice views of the golf course along the way. The Morgan Creek Grill was a hit with good food at reasonable prices and lovely views of the marina, the boating activity and waterway in general. I found myself bragging to everyone at the wedding about how good of an experience I was having. I would definitely stay at Brenda's "Touch of Paradise" again and would recommend it to any traveler looking for a nice clean, quiet and friendly place to stay.
