My name is Kornelija and I will be always at your disposal during your stay in our apartments as a contact person.
This apartment is very basic...maybe a little too basic (it was a holiday after all!) but to be fair we arrived well after the end of the season and the island was quiet. Some small additions might help to make things a little better.
On the plus side the apartment has a wonderful setting and we were able to walk out the door each morning and dive into the clear waters of the Adriatic...pure magic. Mljet is a must for anyone visiting Croatia.
Also thank you to Lucija for meeting us and telling us so much about the island and its sights.
Kornelija was a phenomenal hostess. Due to transportation issues, we arrived quite a bit later than our estimated time. When we finally did get there, Kornelija greeted us with a smile and a table full of small treats & cookies! She also checked in with us during our stay to make sure that we had everything we needed.
The apartment itself is quite cosy (it is a studio), but I loved how this gave it personality and warmth. Another plus: it's about halfway between Old Town and the central bus terminal (both are about 25 minutes away from Kornelija's), so getting around was super easy. It's possible to take a bus but we found walking to be quite pleasant in both directions (towards Old Town you'll walk by the sea; towards the bus station you'll walk by the harbor). I'll definitely stay here again if I return to Dubrovnik!
We stayed in this apartment for six nights in October. We couldn't have been made to feel more comfortable. Communication with Kornelija was always speedy and very helpful, she even arranged for our cab either side of the trip. Her Mother was very welcoming and we arrived to find cakes, beer and fruit juice in the fridge.
The apartment itself was perfect for our needs, compact, comfortable and clean. Great location to explore Dubrovnik and Otto's next door is really wonderful.
I’d highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
Korelija's mom was wonderful. She gave us a very warm welcome, complete with cookies and mandarins from the courtyard. The studio is very cutie, clean and comfortable. Beautiful location too. Although Korelija's mom doesn't know much English, we had not problems communicating. We ate at Otto's next door on her recommendation and loved it. Much cheaper than eating in old town and very yummy food with great service. Just wish we could have stayed longer!
We received a very warm welcome. Apartment is tiny, but had everything we needed. And a great location. Thank you Nike and Kornelija.
The experience at Kornelija's was wonderful. The apartment is very nice and her mom was very kind and received us with cookies! There's parking space and a bus stop just across the street. It takes less than 10 min to go to Old City and buses go by all the time so you don't have to wait too long. It's all very easy. Very nice experience!
Kornelijas place was amazing, we were almost unable to leave the terrass because of the nice view and the sunny position. My mother and I stayed there for two nights and loved it. Kornelija also arranged a taxi transport which was completely worth it because the arrival was so smooth. The host family who meet us was probably the most friendly and helpful people I've ever meet.
The studio was lovely. Nice size with a small kitchen equipped with all the necessary items including coffee and tea.
There is a yard where you can stay and relax. The location was in the middle of Lapad 10 mins bus ride to the Old town and just walking distance to the Lapad beach. Kornelija's mother who gave us the key was very nice and polite and made everything possible for a perfect stay!!! thank you very much!
I highly recommend this studio for a nice break in Dubrovnik.
The apartment was very clean and tidy and our host very helpful, she walked with us to show us where to park and left biscuits and a map of Dubrovnik to help us with our stay.
However, we selected the apartment using the search for 'entire place'. The apartment is actually a room within a home, the entrance is off a shared hallway into the owners house. It feels very much like a private room in someone's house rather than a studio apartment. The building also contain lots of other apartments and homes.
The walk into Dubrovnik old town is up a steep hill but not too far and easy enough to do. There isn't lots going on near the marina but the restaurant next door to the apartment building did seem popular.
We were here 3 days and it was very nice. The house is very beautiful and clean. It is quiet and the bed is very confortable. We could rest. She is really nice and helpful and her husband too. She informed us about all things in Dubrovnik . The flowers of the house are really beautiful and Pepe cat too :-). If you go to Dubrovnik, I recommend stay here without doubt. You have all you need in this house.
Thank you for all!!
I know Kornelija for a several years! She is a very trusting person, very friendly and always ready to help! As a hostess, she does everything she can to make your stay more comfortable!
