Upon confirmation of the reservation, I was given the entry code. The day before our arrival informed that there was a leak in that room so we would be given two alternate rooms with same # of beds. I was ok with that. I informed the host that we would be arriving late at night she said to let ourselves in and use rooms 1 and 3, and Radhapriya would meet us next day at 8am. We got there and only one of the rooms was available. Someone else was in the the other room promised to us. Next day in the morning no one showed up, so we just wandered into the kitchen. The garbage was overflowing, and there were mealy moths in the food. We took the trash out. No one showed up so we went out for breakfast and took care of our business. I texted the host that afternoon and informed her that we had ended up sharing that one room as the the room she promised us was occupied, and that we didn't have the wifi code. The host didn't respond to my texts and no one contacted us throughout our stay. We were not given a wifi code, so we had no connectivity, and it made conducting our business rather difficult. Also It is a Hare Krishna facility (I was not aware when I booked as it's not specified) and the smell of incense was permeated throughout the house and was overwhelming. I am allergic to incense and had difficulty breathing. Overall, even though the location was convenient, the experience was not as good as our other AIRBNB experiences.
This was a lovely experience! Priya even drove out to meet us to help us find the location. Everyone was kind and hospitable. The space was tidy and warm.
The retreat is central to everything, and a there's a quant kids park directly across the street. The room was accurately described, modest in decor, and spacious. Everything was clean and snacks/food were available. We didn't get to do yoga, but maybe next time.
Lovely, quiet, clean accommodations. Too bad I got in at 3am and was somewhat confused by the code on the lock. But that's on me! Hostess was welcoming the next morning when I met her.
Room was great, and host was really good with communication and helpful with coordinating for my late arrival.
Thanks to Leela, Vasu, Ananandi, Savitri!!! I actually stayed in the red room and it was wonderful. Everyone made me feel at home and invited me to activities. The area is simply wonderful. It is a very quiet neighborhood, with a peaceful feeling to the house and room I stayed in. I would recommend this experience to anyone visiting Atlanta. Thank you Leela for so much support!
Loved it! This place was amazing and located close to all the places we wanted to go. Everything was clean and ready for us. Next time we come back we are definitely going to book here again.
I'm a vegetarian so it helps that the place also caters to that.
Leela gave me good direction to the accommodation and was at the bus stop to meet me. She also showed me where to shop and took me to the station the next morning.
The room and bathroom were clean and well equipped and I had use of the kitchen and living rooms. There was a large carpeted area where I did yoga. It is a great place to stay in Altanta, especially if you have a car.
Leela was very welcoming and the room was perfect for me and my cousin. We liked the overall peacefulness and tranquility of the space. The neighborhood was so nice, very historic and lush. I would recommend staying here if you are looking for a quite place to get away from the craziness of everyday life.
The Discovery Center was great--perfect location for getting around Midtown or Decatur, free parking, and privacy. Leela was quick to respond to my queries and even mailed my earrings back to my home when I accidentally left them. I highly recommend.
