Bonjour! I'm a 20 year old student from Aix en Provence, France, I've been studying in North Carolina for a semester now, and haven't seen much of the United States. I'm planning on visiting Chicago during Springbreak. I have no interest in the beach (so Panama City, FL. no thanks) We have beaches where I come from, but not Chicago :-)
I have a great interest in Architecture and design, crafts ... and politics (a lot).
It's my first time travelling on Airbnb (and alone, on top of that) but I'm looking forward to it.
I'm afraid I haven't been really original, so I'm going to follow the advice bellow!
Favorite travel destination: Naples, London, Paris, Istanbul, Corsica
Favorite books: Brave New World, Nana (E. Zola), 20000 leagues under the sea (J. Vernes), The Sirens of Baghdad (Y. Khadra), Candide (Voltaire).
Favorite movies: Philadelphia, LOTR, Lord of war, Monster, Un Prophète
Favorite series: The Big bang theory, Modern Family, Un Village français
Food: any. Really, I would even taste fried insects if given the opportunity. But Lebanese food=n°1
I think Paris' motto would be a pretty cool life motto.
Fluctuat nec mergitur, which means, tossed by the waves but never sinks.
As for my langage skills, I'm a beginner in Arabic and Intermediary in Spanish.
