We had a wonderful time at Venice Beach and surrounding areas. It is as described and a half block to the beach. This is definetly abachelor pad but like us if you are ok with that then you will be pleased. We were greeted by Marco who assisted us with our bags up the stairs. He also checked up on us to make sure all was good and allowed us to leave our bags for an extra couple hours after check out since we were not heading to the airport til close to 2 for our 4 pm flight. We greatly appreciated this. While there I felt the 3.5 earthquake that shook the bed....lol was nothing and short tho. All and all it was great and I would return. Thanks again.
Dragan was very accommodating and responded quickly to inquiry messages. We couldn't make the time we originally thought, but he was very open to whatever time worked for us. The place was perfect for what we needed- clean and close to the beach. He also had an interesting collection of vinyls which we enjoyed while we got ready to go out. All in all, a great place. I would definitely go back. Thanks Dragan!!
Dragan's place was great, excellent location just a stone's throw from the beach. Dragan's communication was excellent and he went out of his way to help me out with my luggage prior to check in.
The host (or more accurately his friend, since he was called away out of town) was very friendly. The unit looks more or less like the images, but the building is a little rundown and the unit is definitely a bit more worn than it appears in the pictures. Clean and neat.
The biggest problem we had (and which led us not to stay) was the parking- which it turns out is more of an AirBnB issue than the host's. I specifically searched for a place that had parking included and this unit came up. As it turns out there is NO parking for the unit, only street parking- which is absolutely impossible to find in Venice on the weekends. Even the nearby lots were full. We wound up having to park blocks and blocks away and it took almost an hour of circling around around in ever wider circles. This was not the best start to our trip and really for us was an untenable situation. It led us to have to make other housing arrangements for our visit.
This is not the fault of the host. AirBnB should not have shown this in the search criteria.
Dragan's place was clean and steps away from the Beach. Everything was very smooth and he was very helpful.
Hats off to Marco for serving as such an outstanding AirBnB host and making our stay as comfortable as possible! Marco was prompt as a point of contact, met us out front of the unit, ensured that we had everything we needed, and even checked in on us day two to see if there was anything he could do to make our stay more comfortable.
As for the studio itself...simply wonderful!!! Perfectly located right by the Venice boardwalk (but SURPRISINGLY quiet), a short walk to Abbot Kinney and all of its delightful attractions in the ways of food, coffee, and shopping, and of course, excellent utilization of space in the unit itself--overall, highly recommended if you are looking for a nice little spot in Venice by the water to enjoy some quintessential time on the sunny side of LA. Marco's space was clean and well-stocked, and he made sure to prep us with coffee and tea for the mornings prior to our arrival as an extra courtesy.
Definitely making note of Marco and his place for future visits.
The apartment was as described, half a block to the beach. Dragan was a great host, there on time, and followed up during my stay to make sure all was well.
I stayed at Marko's place for 3 days and it was a very pleasant stay. The beach is literally down the street, you can see it from in front the house. The place is pretty spacious and the set up is adorable; its cozy! There is street parking, however because it is near the beach it stays pretty crowded. However, Marko is very helpful in helping you find parking. I was able to check into the place at 3pm. He was also kind enough to message me to be sure that my stay was going well. I really appreciated his hospitality and the quick responses to my messages; prior and during my stay. I would surely recommend his place to others. Happy searching :).
The apartment was really nice and looks just like the pictures! The view in the picture is real, it's right off the boardwalk- can't beat the location. I would definitely stay again if traveling alone or with one other person.
As advertised, the place is really close to Venice beach and Abbot Kinney. It was clean and had everything we needed.
