I have tried getting a room in the summer and its often full, thats generally a good sign! I decided to bring some family and friends here for a holiday. (The region is breathtakingly beautiful, the weather is generally great, the wine is superb, its south France after all) La Souche met my expectations and more. The beautiful historical home is packed full of charm, each room is unique. The owners have a talent for good taste and restoration which results in an experience of old world mixed with some modern amenities. We had the pleasure of staying in the apartment but my friends stayed in the bedroom and were very pleased. Big, spacious, clean, comfortable...the pictures are accurate. There is a lot more then meets the eye in this place, hidden gardens, beautiful salt water cement pool with a view into the vineyards. The host are equally accommodating and very friendly. Take the breakfast spread and you won't regret it. Home made jams from fruits in the garden and fresh croissants and bread from the market on the porch with a view...superb! I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back. Cheers.
