The idea of airbnb has been exciting to me since the day I discovered it with my wife, Jeanne. We've been researching locations with our guide book in one hand and airbnb on the computer screen in front of us. This seems to be the best way to feel like we're a part of these new and exciting places while traveling.
I love music/books/movies, eating great food, communing with nature, and spending time with the people I love. I can't live without my teas, Puehr, Yunnan Gold, Keemun, greens, black you name it. Currently my iphone, and all of it's life changing abilities, are rocking my world. I'm an avid swimmer, from early morning masters classes to distance swims in the bay or the ocean, I go wherever the water is warmest.
Born in the San Francisco Bay Area, I've spent my life working in creative fields and found my niche in the film industry. After working for a decade in Los Angeles I moved back to the Bay Area to be closer to my family, my home, and work at the greatest studio (i think) in the world. Feel free to look me up on IMDB but please don't judge my "Surviving Gilligan's Island" or "Danika" credits, it can take a while to catch a break and begin working on "Wall-e" & "Toy Story 3."
While traveling I like to spend as much time as I can exploring an area, soaking it in. I love grabbing bread, cheese, meat and finding the perfect spot to create a picnic. My favorite trips have been all about meeting people and hearing about their lives, and sharing experiences. I often don't think in terms of destinations as continuing the journey.
My grandparents taught me to treat others the way I wished to be treated no matter where I am or who I'm with. This is the rule I live by and wish to lead by example with.
I know you may not have met me but I hope these words and ideas give you a beter idea of who I am. I hope to meet you soon, whoever you are, wherever you are.
