I loved staying in the hub of St. Kilda Beach and cosmopolitan lifestyle. Buses and trams are close, shops, grocery store, laundry matt, coffee shops and restaurants all in walking distance. Janet is an interesting lady with wry humour and we shared a common interest in food. Janet's lime curd is very delicious. On my last evening stay, Janet showed me around St. Kilda and gave me some background on the history of the area. Maggie and Jock Janet's two dogs are really cute and love cuddles. Good luck!
Nice and clean accommodation, nice host, nice and cute little good behaved dogs, nothing to complain about at all!
I enjoyed (email hidden)lda itself is pretty worth it to stay as well.
Janet was friendly and willing to share information about St Kilda and the area. And she made very nice scones with different flavour curds!
Lovely to have met Janet and her dogs!!! Amazing location, very friendly host. Walking the dogs and local cafe trips were a treat! Will come back for sure! Thanks Janet!
Janet was extremely helpful and friendly, sharing her knowledge of australia and melbourne, and her yummy scones with lemon curd ! Thanks so making my move to aus less stressful.
I stayed with Janet for two weeks while i found and apartment, Janet was soo friendly and helpful and her two little dogs are soo cute. The location is awesome just opposite the beach and close to shops, trams and some awesome cafes.
Great location in a very nice appartment. Walking Jock and Maggie, (Janet's West Highland Terriers), along the sea front was great fun.
I wanted to be close to the beach as well as check out the historic buildings around St Kilda. I was welcomed on arrival with a cup of tea and given details as to locations of various places for dinner. On more than one occasion I joined the host for one of her walks in the evening were she mentioned some aspects of the history of St Kilda, which was great as I got the sence of community and place with my short stay due to the host being helpful and friendly. I found my accommodation very comfortable with my own bathroom. I was over for a conference on Building Sustainability for two days. It was a short 5-minute walk then catching the number 96 tram, which got me to the conference at the Convention centre. I would certainly stay again when in Melbourne next.
Great Location. Great room. Comfortable bed. Great host!
Two of the sweetest little dogs made me feel welcome!
