I am an Iranian American that was born in Tehran and moved to the U.S. with my family when I was 4 years old. I would describe myself and my attitude toward life as "Progressive". I consider myself very open-minded and I am very proud to have a highly diverse group of friends. I love traveling, exploring cultures and meeting people. I am also a very physically active person. My hobbies include: hiking, camping, canoeing, fishing, cross country skiing, soccer, martial arts, biking, going on long dog walks, urban exploration, indoor rock climbing, weight-lifting... I think you get the picture.
I also consider myself an environmentalist. I have a BS in Environmental and Natural Resources with a concentration in Policy and Law from the University of Minnesota and an MS in Science, Technology, and Environmental Policy with a concentration in International Environmental Security Policy. I just started as a co-executive director of a newly formed non-profit org. called Be The Change.
Most importantly, in terms of my travel accommodation disposition, I am very laid back and enjoy being around open-minded, friendly, and easy-going people.
