I did communicate with you first. I called you during the 15 minutes we struggled to get the door open. My friend hurt her finger trying to squeeze the broken latch open. I told you it was a fire hazard (you agreed) and that we did not feel safe over the phone and later via text message. When I asked you if the door could be fixed, you said the landlord was unable to fix it until three days later. You were very apologetic and I appreciated that, but again we did not feel safe. I called Airbnb about reserving another apartment. You left me no choice.
I'm sorry about the towels but they were very small. Your bathroom is literally a shower stall with a toilet inside of it. And since there was no bath mat to soak up the water, we used the extra towels so we wouldn't ruin your hardwood floors.
We agreed upon a time for checkout. You did not show up on time or let us know you were running late. We waited for 10 minutes; I messaged you but did not hear back. We had to catch a bus to the airport so we didn't just leave the keys "somewhere." We left them at the same restaurant you told us to pick them up from when we arrived.
