Aubé has a beautiful apartment and she is a lovely, kind host. She made every effort to make me and my girlfriend feel at home as soon as we arrived and we would like to thank her for making our experience in Paris a memorable one. It's also the first time I've used Airbnb and I've been really impressed with the service. It's easy, personable and beats staying in a hotel hands down!
Aube has a fantastic apartment. Apart from the known Hotel De Ville, Centre G. Pompidou, Picasso museum and fantastic Le Marais neighbourhood her place is also right nearby where Helmut Newton shot the iconic Le Smoking photo! and also downstairs cafe has fantastic onion soup half of the time (it wasn't as fantastic the second time we were there but still great I guess the chef was different) There are lots of restaurants and cafe's nearby. I believe also Marais is one of the rare neighbourhoods that is open for business on Sundays and that almost adds an entire day to your trip if you're there on a sunday! If you are going there as a couple hers is the place to stay, I know because I had researched a lot.
When traveling to Paris, you can live like a tourist and stay in a hotel, or live like a Parisian, and stay at Aubepine's. I could not imagine a better, more central location. Just 1 block from the Centre de Pompidou and Hotel de Ville, nestled between dozens of restaurents and bars, and just a few block from Notre Dame, this 4th floor apartment captures the unique pulse that is Paris. As the photos demonstrate, her place is beautiful and authentic, and captures the romantic essence of Paris. It will always mark a very special time I spent in a very special place.
This was my second time staying with Aubepine. Once again, a fantastic stay!
Aubepine was a fantastic host, and represents everything about Airbnb. She welcomed the Airbnb team into her apartment, and provided us with guidance for navigating around Paris, and getting set up. She was a phone call away if we needed anything. Her apartment is a 4th floor, one bedroom located in an amazing neighborhood. It has a lot of character, with wooden floors, moulding, and lots of books. She's only a block away from Hotel De Ville and the Centre de Pompidou. The metro is half a block away. Local grocery stores and nightlife make this apartment a deal. I hope we have chance to stay here on the next trip to Paris. Thanks again, Aube!
Aubépine greeted us at our arrival and was very friendly and accommodating. She served us orange juice and showed us around. The location was excellent! It was near the Notre Dame, Pompidou Center, Picasso Museum, Hotel De Ville and other great sights. The bed was very comfortable and the place was very quiet. The place was a bit quirky in that the refrigerator had to be propped shut and there was quite a bit of stuff in there, but we liked seeing real Parisian apartment life. I should also mention there are quite a few stairs to get up to the apartment but it wasn't a problem for us.
